Sony cdx-a10 disc jockey 10 disc changer suddenly shows "no cd" and there are 10 of them in the changer. sometimes it shows an error code for no reason. how can i solve this problem?

E 04 means it can't read the disc. You can try to run an optical cleaner thru it, just make sure you use one that has fluid. They sell for 20 or so anywhere. Beyond that, it would need a new optic. Hope this helps
e-99 indicates that there is some type of mechanical jam, the microprocessor requires reset, or the system had some major failure. try to remove power from the system for a few moments, and then reconnect. this will rest the microprocessor and possibly restore function. if there's a disc stuck in the magazine, or stuck somewhere in the loading or unloading sequence, it's sometimes possible to free this but the changer will have to be removed from the vehicle and partially disassembled.
