Hello, moving the pictures from the photo frame to your laptop shouldn't be too difficult. First, we'll need to know what kind of laptop you have (make/model) and what kind of photo-frame you have. These two pieces of information will help us determine how your photo frame stores the pictures, and the best way to get them to your laptop.

good news - your photo frame uses a removable SD card that pops out of the frame which contains the pictures. Your laptop has a matching card-reader in the front of it. If you remove the card from the frame and insert it into your laptop, your computer should automatically pop up and give you some options to view and print your pictures. Good luck!

SOURCE: Matsui 7" digital photo frame

I got one for xmas and pics download easily every time. I connect my camera to the laptop then load the shots I want onto the SD card on the camera, disconnect and remove the SD card from the camera then insert in the frame. I have had no problems with photo size or downloading time. I do have a problem when I remove images from the SD card however. The frame still displays images that I deleted and are not showing when I connect to the laptop!  Can anyone help?

SOURCE: I can't load photos onto my digital photo frame

The  A701 is  a bit cranky.  I've found that it prefers  USB  flash sticks of upto  2GB. It likes the flash stick formatting  before use.  And it prefers  jpg files  added  to the root directory of the flash stick -  so  no images in folders. Finally but probably least important, it's not much point uploading  2MB  jpgs as  the screen  is pretty much  72DPI  smaller size JPGS  lead to a faster loading. ( try  around 900x 600 dpi )

How do i download photos from pc to digital photo frame

1. Connect the digital photo frame to an available USB port on the PC. Turn on the PC and the digital photo frame. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the digital photo frame (this end is usually smaller) and connect the other end to the USB port on the PC itself.

2. Wait for the PC to automatically detect the USB-connected digital photo frame.

3. Move any photo files that you want to display on the digital photo frame. Do so by copying and pasting each file into the connected USB device that you can view in "my computer". Many photo frames have built-in memory for this feature.

My children gave me a digital photo frame for Christmas. I have a Nikon digital camera. I have downloaded and deleted from my camera several pictures I would like to put into my photo frame. Am I able to...

If the "camera chip" you refer to is a removable SD Memory Card you need to put that into a SD Card Slot on your computer or use an USB Card Reader device. The computer will recognize the SD Card as a Disk Drive and you can use Windows Explorer to transfer the picture files to it.

How to send photos from laptop to digital photo frame

The photo frame will either have a card slot or a USB connection on it. If it has a card slot you will need to connect the card to your compuer first (through a card reader) and download the pictures onto it. Then put the card into the photo frame.
If it has a USB connection, you can use a usb flash drive - first plugged into your computer to download the pictures then plugged into the photo frame.
It is also possible that the photo frame has internal memory - in which case you would connect the frame to your computer directly using a USB cable. It would them show as a "Removable Disk" and you can download directly to it.

Unshuffling photos

Hi JudyCrab,

I've found I need to plug a separate SD card into the frame and copy my pictures to that to get them to stay sorted chronologically like I want. The internal memory in the frame puts the pictures out of order every time but the SD card has been keeping them sorted fine.

Hope this helped.

Downloading from pc to digital photo frame

Solution:

1. I don't think the USB Cable was given to Download Photos from the computer - I think it was given to upload photos to the Computer.

2. The manufacturer has either gave you the wrong cable for a different type of Operating system or you are trying to put it in the wrong port.

Suggestion:

1. Call a Technical Support Line (Probably found on back of instruction booklet.)

or

2. Send the Product back to the company.
