  • Enter either the preset factory code or the the current user code.

  • 2
Press the "1-2" button. You must do this within five seconds of entering the current code. The door will lock and then unlock to alert you that the system is ready for programming.

  • 3
Enter the new five-digit code. You can't wait more than five seconds between entries, or the process will be aborted.

  • 4

Lock and unlock both run off the same power supply...I'd be looking for a bad switch or a broken wire in the door harness where the wires go through the rubber boot between the door and pillar.

SOURCE: Drivers Door Lock Problem

You will probably need to replace the power door lock actuator.

Here's a link to one similar to yours.

You can probably get a used one from a salvage yard.

SOURCE: programming keyless remote

2003-04 Mazda 6 REMOTE PROGRAMMING

Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.

Step 2: Lock and unlock the driver’s door using the power door lock switch on the door.

Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.

Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT - use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.

Step 5: Open and close the driver’s door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).

Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.

Step 7: Press any button on remote #1 twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

Step 8: Press any button on remote #2 (etc.) twice. Each time the ECU will respond by locking & unlocking the doors.

Step 9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!

Good Luck.

'91 LS400, trunk will not open. key will not turn, electric latch switch clicks but won't open. valet lock in open position. Tried 1) disconnect battery, reconnect battery, use switch, push down on...

If you hear the sound of the electric latch switch, then it's working but stuck somehow. Just put the key in the switch and turn it to the right and then pull up the trunk or ask someone to help you. it will open. I tried it today and it opened with me. It was stuck from inside by some kind of a broken plastic pieces. Just removed it and now it's working fine. good luck

I HAVE A GORDON DIGITAL ELECTRIC SAFE THAT WILL NOT OPEN WITH THE COMBO ANYMORE DON'T RECALL EVER HAVING A KEY... PLEASE HELP IT IS IMPERATIVE I GET INTO MY SAFE FOR SOME LEGAL DOCUMENTS. CAN'T AFFORD A...

This is a bummer. The batteries go out on these and the key is the only way in then. You can drill out the key lock and manually pull back the rods but it would cost more to re-lock it than buy a new one.

A jiggler key might save the safe (no pun intended)
see a video here and check out related.

my last thought is if you wanted to pull off the face of the safe and find the two leads that run to the servo you could jump the wires with a 9V battery and it might pull the afe open.

I hope one of these ideas can help you.
please reply if I can help more
