Please provide the model number and the approximate age of the dishwasher.
If this diswasher uses a turning dial to select the cycle, which turns as the dishwasher progresses, I strongly suspect that this timer has failed and needs replacement. Especially since the soap door never opens. Does the dishwasher drain during and at the end of the full cycle?

Cycle starts, but does not fill with water

When I start a new cycle, I first hear the pump run to empty out all remaining water, and after that I hear the motor run for the regular washing cycle, but there is no water in the dishwasher. After a few minutes, the cycle stops, and the washer claims the dishes are 'clean'. When I try starting a new cycle over and over again, about one in 20 times, the cycle will run normally with water. But then the next time, the problem starts all over again. Once a cycle starts correctly, everything works fine, including the rinsing.

Oven door is locked and will not clear. I have tried to reset. Turned the breaker off, The only button that works is the timer. I am not cleaning the oven it was locked by accidentially leaning against the...

Hello JJ, Try pressing the "Clear/OFF" button to stop the self cleaning cycle. It will take up to an hour before the oven will unlock the door, if the oven has started to heat up for the cleaning process

You may have started the default 3 hour self-clean cycle, so you can attempt to reduce the time to 2 hours, by pushing the timer down so it displays "2" which would indicate the shorter cleaning cycle. Then at the end of the timed cleaning cycle, it should open up, once the temperature has cooled sufficiently for it to be safe to open, again, which takes up to an hour to sufficiently cool.

Typically, when an oven is accidently put into self clean mode, the timer "kicks in" and the timer has to run out before the oven will unlock. With the older mechanical knob timers, you could just rotater the timer until you reached the end of the pre-set time. With the electronic timers, you have to let the timer "count down" until it reaches zero before the oven will unlock the oven door.

Here's a link to the Frigidare site where you can select your specific FEF352 version and download a owners manual, free of charge.

Cycle stops, won't drain

This is either a bad timer or a bad heat sensor. On most cycles that call for the water to be heated it will pause the timer and continue washing/heating until the sensor is satisfied the water is hot enough. Try selecting a quick, delicate, or china cycle without heated rinse or dry. If it works this way the timer is fine but the sensor is bad. Sometimes cold water to the machine will cause this problem because the machine is not capable of totallly heating cold water. It is only designed to boost the temp. Make sure you run hot water at the sink before you start the machine.

2007 Bosch Washer WFMC 3301

It may be possible that you are using too much soap. There is a turbidity sensor that checks for soap in the water. It will keep rinsing until it thinks the soap is gone. You did not state if you are ever able to complete an entire cycle or not. If the cycle never completes, it is possibly a problem with the main circuit board. Have you allowed the machine to complete a cycle?

Washer Won't Rinse (Hotpoint)

Suggestion: Try cleaning your outlet filter. This needs periodic cleaning, according to your usage. Refer to user's manual re. the cleaning. When it is the rinse problem it usually is the filter block.
