2007 Bosch Washer WFMC 3301

Wash cycle never completes. If I start a load of wash, the timer starts to count down, however before the load of wash reaches the rinse cycle, the timer revers to the original start time or a start time greater than the original and will start again from the begining. This happens for all wash selectiions. Does this mean the timer is faulty?

It may be possible that you are using too much soap. There is a turbidity sensor that checks for soap in the water. It will keep rinsing until it thinks the soap is gone. You did not state if you are ever able to complete an entire cycle or not. If the cycle never completes, it is possibly a problem with the main circuit board. Have you allowed the machine to complete a cycle?

I start the wash cycle timer reads 1:02 machine runs and timer counts down to 54 mins. then resets to 1:12 mins. which inturn adds approx. 18-20 mins to wash cycle why the reset??

I had a similar problem with ours and had a repair guy come out and look at it. He suggested running a couple of heavy bleach cycles through the machine. He said that sometimes if you use too much detergent (especially if you're not using the "High Efficiency" type of detergent) detergent builds up on a sensor in the machine and causes longer than necessary wash cycles. We actually ran 2 cycles of bleach and then a couple more with no bleach or detergent and the problem cleared up.

Timer dosent count down

HI, this is a simple fix here, you will need to replace the timer/control module. this will fix this issue. this specific device is ruined and, unable to initiate the wash cycle correctly due to circuit damage.

Bosch model 3301

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too. The exit hose should be at about 3 feet from ground level; pump pumps out over this height.

Long wash times

I've had this problem, particularly with towels - it's quite annoying & not energy or water efficient at all. According to the manual, the unit has a sensor that senses if there is too much soap & it will continue to wash until the soap is removed. I found that this happened frequently on the "cotton" cycles & max spin. I've tried to make sure I use less soap, but I also use the perm-a-press cycle & the spin 1 down from max. Hope this helps
