I use tally 7.2 version n my question is i normally overwrite past entries by ALT+2 bt smtimes i frgts to duplicate the entry n because if such i lost many more of my past entries Can i undo such entries if yes den how plz reply as soon as possible

To fix this, follow the steps below:
1. Back up your Tally data.
2. Make a new folder under the Data and then change the name of the folder with a 5-digit number such as 11111.
3. Copy the files below from the corrupted folder to your folder 11111.
Company.900, Linkmgr.900, Manager.900, Tranmgr.900 and Camsave.900
4. Click Start and then Run and then type the command C:\Tally.ERP9\tally.exe data 0.
5. Press Ctrl+Alt+R and click Yes to confirm. Wait until the process is done.
6. Exit Tally and re-open it to see if the problem has been resolved.
Alternatively, if the above steps didn't work for you, remove Tally and all its components completely. And then restart your computer and reinstall it again to replace all the corrupted files.

Left-click on the file you want to delete, and click the delete button on the keyboard, or drag and drop to your recycle bin. After that, right click on your recycle bin and click "Empty Recycle Bin". Now the file is completely off your system.

Voucher Entry

This option allows you to configure the vouchers entries in Tally.ERP 9, both the Accounting and Inventory Vouchers can be configured from this menu for additional information.

Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Voucher Entry

By default, the above configuration options are displayed in the Voucher Entry configuration screen, which can be changed as per requirements.

1. make a sale entry in tally
2. Export the voucher from tally in xml format (this is to give u how the xml looks)
3. Open the excel file where all the data is ther.
4. open a word file, so that we can prepare the xml for mutiple vouchers. For this we will use Mail Merge facility
5. in the XML which we did in step two, copy the data from "<TALLYMESSAGE xmlns:UDF="TallyUDF">" till the </TALLYMESSAGE>
6. Now open the word file, go to mail merger, select the fields which needs to be changed, that is the Debtors and the amount (for normal sale entries) which should change for every sale voucher.
7. create the mail merge.
8. copy the data what you got in word file to a note pad and name it as sample.
9. open again the step 2 - copy data from " <ENVELOPE> to <REQUESTDATA>" and paste in the begining of the notepad sample
10. go the end of the notepad sample and copy the data from first file -"step 2" from " </REQUESTDATA> to </ENVELOPE>" and save the file
11. Open tally
12. go to import vocuhers
13. specify the path of the notepad sample and yes ur data got imported.

IF u want to no about tally 7.2 then download video tetorial of tally 7.2............

Select all sales entry one by one by pressing space bar, & after selecting all the entries. Siply press Alt+D. all the selected Entries Deleted at once.
Note:- This feature is available on in original Tally Users not for Crecked Tally.

hello user of tally,

you are getting ur voucher in single entry mode so when u entered in to a payment/receipt/contra press F12 and say NO to the following option

"Use Single Entry mode for Payment/Rcpt/Contra" :- No

dear
on select company screen press ctrl+alt+r keys and select the rewrite books for the same company

it doesnot matter that tally is original or pirated, but if it is original

after taking the backup of tally you must to surrender the tally online,to tally solutions. after that whenever you want to install it again it can.....

but now days i seen a new problem with tally,

whether your tally is orginal or pirated its getting damaged....and when you talk to tally solutions you are forced to upgrade it in tally 9.0 by paying another 6500/-
