If the unit is leaking air you must install an O-ring kit. The correct on for this model is an ORK-6. Any Bostitch service center will have these kits. This should solve all the leakage problems

Maitenance oil leek on head

Hiya,

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with your mixer. To stop the oil leaking from the front of the mixer, you just need to remove the drip ring and give it a good clean underneath and this should stop the oil from leaking out. Below I have added a link and if you watch on the timing "1.28" you will see how to remove the drip ring.

I have a bostitch hardwood floor nailer That is leaking air. I have put some oil in it but not necessarly air tool oil. once I put the oil in it it would work for 1 run and then start leaking air again....

This behavior is a good indication that one or more of the o-rings has a defect and needs to be replaced. See the link below for more information about the gun itself. Enter the exact model. Post any additional questions here should you have any.

Air leaking on my third machine same problem on all three now they (the shop i bought it in)that i should have been putting oil in through the air valve if this is to be the case i would have thought this...

yes, most air tools require about 6 drops of air tool oil before using and when taking a break for lunch or prolonged usage another 6 more. This needs to be done unless the manufacturer specifically states that it it oil free.

1996 couger oil filter housing is leaking

Whipe all the area around cleen, fill the oil level, start the engine and see where is leeking.
If its oil filter gascet leeking, change the oilfilter, clean all htat area and see if it still leeks.
