Memory card Just bought this camera. No matter what brand memory card(they are all sd that I tried) it says "unable to use card".

  • Anonymous Jan 31, 2008

Camera has been working fine then when I turned it on, said "Unable to use card". Tried other cards with same result. Can't get past the message to do anything else. I have a warranty. They want me to go to Konica-Minolta website to get help which they say will probably be downloading some software. I am in the process but have had trouble finding right site, right solution, etc. If anyone has exact steps, please let me know.

SD Card Problems with Vivitar Vivicam 5118!

What size is the memory card. If it's larger than 4GB then it won't work in the 5118.
Try using another card. Don't format it in your computer but do format it in the camera before trying to take pictures.

I purchased a vivitar vivicam 5019 at big lots and cannot find anyplace online that sells memory card for this model.cannot even find this model online anywhere. package says it will take a sd card up to...

SD cards only go up to 2GB, but SDHC cards go up to 32GB. The ViviCam will take any SD or SDHC card. The brand doesn't matter. The speed doesn't matter either, though a faster card may download faster if you use a card reader instead of the camera.

You should be able to find SD and SDHC cards at any department, electronics, or office-supply store, and online at their web sites if you're willing to pay shipping and wait for it.

You can use any SD or SDHC card. The brand doesn't really matter, as long as you stick with the major brands. The speed doesn't matter either, though a faster card might download faster if you use a card reader.

You should be able to find SD and SDHC cards at any department, electronics, or office-supply store. Many drugstores and supermarkets also carry them.

Just bought a vivicam T324N model...have no idea what brand, size or kind of memory card I need?

The T324N uses SD cards and SDHC cards up to 8GB. SD cards top out at 2GB.

Brand really doesn't matter, as long as it's one of the major brands. (And if you see it at a store, it's a major brand.) Speed of the card won't make any difference to the camera, though a faster card may download quicker if you're using a card reader.

Tried two different brand sd cards. c533 tries to

Try turning the camera off and then back on.Ensure that the memory card is the proper type for the camera. If the memory card is the proper type, try re- formatting the card using the Format option in the Delete sub-menu of the Playback Menu. If it will not format, it is probably corrupted. Replace the memory card
