This is a Hotpoint WT761 washer. Have checked allingoing pipes and the water is coming in at the right pressure. The water intake switches off after about 10 secs then machine goes into a wash tumble. If i press `stop` then , after a few seconds , press`start` it takes in more water for 10 secs. This can be repeated a few times. i have a gut feeling that the processor module is at fault. The machine is only 18months old.

Pull off your washer mains cord from the wall. Turn off your wall faucet,, the valve on wall which allows water into the washer. (h2o means your washer is not receiving the most importing thing - water). Disconnect the pipes of the water from the wall. Check by opening the wall valve to see if the water flow is gud. Next fit back carefully. Then unscrew the other end of the hose/hoses at the entry point of your washer - remove the fine filters and clean out with an old tooth brush; clean inside the opening of inlet valve too carefully, check. Now re-fit the filters carefully and screw back the hoses. You are done now. It is advisable to close the wall valve when your washing is done, takes pressure off the machine valve. Pl click if helped.....
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry- this is my 'standard' reply to water fill/H2O problems- hope it helps!
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C
H20 means a water inlet problem.
Check the inlet pipe/s are not restricted or kinked.
Ensure that the pressure is adequate.
This cold weather has caused some washer hoses to freeze up.
Hope this helps.
You have a blockage not allowing the drum to empty.
Check for blockages via the pump filter and the hoses
F05 means blocked pressure switch
If it still won't work come back to me
The first thing to check here is by opening up the top of your washer. Plug off the mains. Check to see the wires are connected to the inlet valve at the point where the water enters your machine, tighten the wires. Then shut off the wall faucet, unscrew the hoses, check the fine mesh at the machine valve entrance, clean out. Refit the hoses carefully without cross threading, open the wall faucet full to check for leaks; advisable to keep faucet fully open. Check to see that there is no leak at the dispenser end of the pipes. You are done now, try the machine (with the top open, caution)
If there is still no water, just change the inlet water valve, you can do it yourself. Try these sites for spares: RepairClinic.com espares.co.uk AppliancePartsPros.com mcminone.com
Sounds like water pressure could be low or inlet pipe is kinked.
F04: possible filling or water level problem. Check water inlet pipe (or shut-off valve), or the outlet pipe, or the pump or pump filter if accessible (check for blockages or foreign objects). Also could be the water valve solenoid weak, causing filling to be too slow.
F05: possible draining (pumping off) problem, check the pump filter, or pump, outlet pipe, or U-BEND.
Check that your outlet pipe rises above the stated height on the back of the machine (about 3/4 of the way up). If it is too low, it will siphon the water out of the drum. If you're not sure what height it should be at, raise the top of the pipe (ie where it bends back into the outflow pipe) above the top of the machine (if you have room) or as high as you can. It must be above the height of the drum.
as you can read in these site that is a grate problem with the model allso the company tech is talking about to chage the machine insted repair so all I can say is that you have problem with the computer board of the machine,,,,good luck and rate me
