I need you to look around your ice maker for a package containing a wiring diagram. I have information related to the Whirlpool 15 inch and 18 inch ice makers but for some reason GE did not publish the repair manual for your model. I want you to check the voltage going into the WR62X10015 Transformer
cutter grid is not getting hot - 2bb81f3b-2673-4a94-87b7-5156be0aba8a.jpg

You should be getting at least 120 volts ac. Then test the voltage coming out of the transformer. What is the voltage coming out of the
WR62X10015 Transformer? Check the control board area for a fuse that goes to the
WR62X10015 Transformer
Check for loose connections going to the grid or broken wires on the grid itself. WR29X10073 Cutting Grid Assembly

Here is a link to the GE Monogram Technical Data
The Whirlpool and the GE Monogram Ice Machines are basically the same thing other than part numbers so I am linking to the Click Here=> Whirlpool 15 inch and 18 inch Ice Machine Service Manual I will be here to answer your questions so please let me know should you have questions, More information can be found

I have a zdis15csse monogram ice machine. It produces ice fine, however the grid cutter will not heat up/ cut the sheet once its been produced. This is a brand new grid cuter, so i believe it isthe...

It is located right below the top cover. You will probably have to take the door off to remove all the screws that hold the top. The control board is located there and the problem is either the connections on the side of the grid cutter wires, the plug in near the cutter inside the bin area or the transformer on the control board. You can probably get a price for the control board if you take your model number and go to Searspartsdirect.com and find the control drawing and you should be able to order a new control board with a credit card and have it delivered to your home.
Hope this helps

Ge monogram icemaker ZDIW50YB not cutting ice

Is the cutting grid getting warm if just warm make sure you don't have any loose wires supplying power to grid. Check grid cutting transformer to make sure it is working. make sure grid is clean. If you are getting power to cutting grid and it's not getting warm then cube let cutter grid is bad. If this needs to be replaced you might thank about a new machine the cost for this part is around 480.00 part number AP2068335

Ive just put a new grid cutter in my whirlpool ice maker but it is not heatinh up to cut the ice sheets into cubes. Any ideas what to do next?

Yes the next step is to check the voltage on the secondary side of the grid transformer found in the photo on page 30 of the=> 15 and 18 inch Whirlpool Ice Maker Service Manual

GI15NFLXS Grid Transformer

I hope the manual is a big help in resolving the ice cutting problem and please ask should you have any questions. The secondary side of the transformer should be showing a least 8.5 volts ac. Let me know if you are able to find the problem, Thanks Sea Breeze
The 18 inch ice maker takes the same grid transformer as the 15 inch model.

What is a paper cutter?

A paper cutter is meant to cut large pieces of paper in a perfectly straight way. The tool is about 30 cm large on each side. It will have a grid drawn on the surface or a ruler along the top. On the right is a blade and it is attached to one corner. The blade lifts up to cut straight edges wherever you wish to cut. There is also a finger guard as a protective feature.

How to clean the dicing grids for the Robot Coupe cl50e. The problem is that the food gets stuck in the dicing grid and is hard to get out.

CL50 is a food cutter not a microwave... I use a chopstick or a brush with long bristles to clean the grid.

Have kitchenaid undercounter ice maker, came with the house i bought a year ago. the problem is the water freezes in the resevoir. i have replaced the circulating pump, the thermistor, some sensor,...

on the right side of the ice bin and above the cutter grid are 2 sensor plugs, unplug the one towards the rear of the machine (usually has light brown w/red striped wires). if this does not fix the problem then replace the main control board and the transformer. Also the water doesn't go to the grid, it rolls across the evaporator, freezes a slab of ice that then slides down to the cutter grid. the cutter grid should be somewhat warm, it is what cuts the ice into the little squares. I've worked on these machines for around 7 years now and have only seen this problem once, this should fixya

Seized cutter

I don't know this machine but if the cutter and shaft are metal try applying very hot water to the point where its stuck then tap it with something like a plastic screwdriver handle.Use your judgement on how hot the water should be by considering the surrounding parts and be carefull not to burn yourself.

My GE Monogram Ice Maker keeping turning its self off and the cleaning light starts flashing. We have cleaned the unit using the nickle safe product. Anyone else have this problem?

the rate the light flashes is a code for trouble shooting the electronics on the unit ( such as bad coil sensor, bad bin sensor or shorted grid cutter) if you will look behind the front grille you should find a tech sheet that will tell you what the flasing means and tell you what components to replace. BTW the most common failure is the cutter grid and bin sensor. the sensor is the white rod on the right hand wall inside the unit. besure it is plugged in. Let me know if I can help you futher. thanks Peyton
