Tape keeps ejecting

You can check tape player for any type of object lodged in it. Maybe unplug and turn upside down to here anything inside. Or even any broken tape that come off inside. The only other thing is that the belts inside are worn and will not put device back in play mode.

How to eject a stuck vhs tape.

I will show you how to eject a stuck vhs tape. I did this on the sony slv-d300p first, unplug it. Next, take out all the screws on the back. Take off the cover. Locate the loading motor on the right. Turn the gears next to it. After about 5 minutes, the tape should eject. While its open, take a CLEAN piece of paper, hold it up to the drum, and rotate it with the paper against the back. after 5 minutes, take the paper off and stop spinning. the paper may be dirty. put the cover back on, and try to put in a vhs c adapter with NO vhs c in it. when you put it in, it should spit it back out.

VCR won't eject tape or play & powers off

It sounds as though it's jammed. If you're mechanically inclined you can unplug the unit, take the cover off, and manually eject it. Just look for the motor that drives the load basket and manually spin the shaft. The guide-posts should retract towards the tape and the basket will then lift and eject. Just be aware that whatever bit of tape that's out of the cassette won't spool back in. You will have to do that bu hand once it's out.
When you're done, plug it back in and let it cycle then put an old cheap tape in and see if it works. If not, take it in for repair.

I have a brand new tape adapter (for my iPod) that was working for weeks, but after I ejected it, it just keeps ejecting itself right when I try to put it back in. It will play just a tiny bit of the...

You might try flipping the adapter over the other way. If that doesn't work, you might want to try putting a cleaning tape in and clean the cassette heads. The tape player will sometimes eject a tape if it cannot read it very well. It assumes that the tape is damaged. Dirt on your heads can cause it to eject your adapter because it is having trouble reading the signal from the adapter.

When i put a tape in it beeps then would not eject

Ether the tape is cought inside the camera or the eject motor is not releasing the tape inside try the following

1. Take battery out
2, put it back in and press the eject but with the camera up to your ear.

If you hear it trying to eject the tape got ate inside the unit best thing here to do is take it to a camera shop have them extract the tape.

Hope this does help please do make sure you rate before you leave.

I have a Sony DCR-TRV250 Digital Handycam Camcorder. Currently a tape is stuck in it and the camcorder won't eject it. The tape unit comes out but won't open.

I got the tape to eject by removing the battery from the camcorder, putting it back on so that the tape would go back inside the camera. Then I had the tape eject again. Several times the tape would not be ejected but I repeated my steps until the camera released the tape.

My Drive will not eject the tape

Turn off the tape drive. (Switch in the back of the unit. Wait 2 minutes and then turn unit back on. Tape drive should issue a write data command and then rewind the tape. After rewind completes the tape should eject. If it does not eject after rrewind completes than try holding the eject button for 5 seconds to attempt a "force eject"

Note: Do not repeatedly press the eject button as this can cause damage to the tape and the tape drive.
