Problem with my DVD driver in my toshiba A60 model laptop can any one solve it?

this link will take you to the support page for a similar model. check the numbers on your model as you seam to be missing some letters or numbers. the Satellite A60 is a model but the -102 isnt enough. it should read like
Satellite A60-S1072 which is the model i posted the link for. choose your OS like xp or vista and try that driver. but it will be better if you get the right model first.

As you have not specify the exact A60 model, I'm not able to filter down to the right model.

But I can guide you to the download page. Just copy and paste the url below in your web browser

Then click "show all models" ----> "satellite" -----> A60-XXXX where X represent your A60 model.

Click "Go"

Then download the sound driver.

Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers.

The best place to download drivers is the manufacturer's website. But I do not see a Satellite A60-S155. Here is the link to drivers for the A60-S156 from the Toshiba website:)

Audio driver should be the same within the series. Specifically the most recent audio driver is here:)

It seems to me that ypu have not copied correctly..try to use NERO for write CD/DVD for best result...

Here's a link to Toshiba's support site. You will need to choose the exact A60 model you have, then choose downloads on the next screen, then you can put in your operating system, and it will give you all the drivers for your machine. There is an S### number after the A60. You'll see what I'm talking about when you drop over to the site. If you have any trouble finding the drivers post the entire model number and I'll see what I can find.

check your device manager for dvd drive .chekc it is found or not.
open your dvd lock in right side of laptop.then reattach it.

also go to bois setup and give first boot option to dvd.then if u have bootable disk then try to boot with dvd.
then if u boot the sys then your dvd working properly.
then your os driver problem try to uninstall driver and rstart sys.
