1. Run “Hard Disk Format” selected in the following sequence: Tech. Rep. Mode - Function - Image Memory.
2. If the same malfunction persists, change Hard Disk Drive.
3. If the malfunction is detected a third time, change Memory Board.
To enter Tech Rep Mode:
1. Press the Utility key.
2. Touch Meter Count.
3. Press the following keys in this order: Stop - 0 - 0 - Stop - 0 - 1.
4. Select Tech. Rep. Mode.

Abnormally high toner density detected Black ATDC (auto toner density control circuit)
Replace black IU, check toner motors, make sure toner is loose not clumpy. Change dev reset toner level.

Code is indicating a problem with the Automatic Image Density Control. A sensor that look at the drum and determines ability of the drum to hold toner and image. Open close front door should reset it. If it comes back clean the sensor, Drum may need to be replaced.

Elevation drive motor failure. was there or Is there anything under the trays of the finisher (where the copies come out?) look over the exit trays make sure ther is no damage or binding. Open close finiher door turn power off then on.
