Take it in to get looked at! it could be a elec. short which might cause an accident(ie. fire, shocking, explode....)

My vax pet Hoover has lost its suction I've emptied it there's no blockages and Iv cleaned the filter

first, if it has a hose check for being plugged, you may have to take the vacuum apart further till you reach the fan on motor which may have hair, lint, etc wrapped around it which can cause low suction.

Loss of suction on my Vax Air Pet 3. All filters and hose clear and belt spinning. Ideas/help appreciated - thanks!!

Sounds like a clog in the plastic that the hoses are connected to. Take bottom off so you can get in with a wire with a small hook and run all the way to the bag you might have to work from the bag opening down too. You should find a big wad hiding some ware in the housing this is an all to common problem with most brands of this type of vacuum.

I have a Vax turbo force 2000w hoover and it doesnt pick up theres hardly any suction and then it cuts out. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Yep,

Your filters are clogged. As a result the motor is straining and overheating, then a thermal cutout operates.

Clean the filters in the top of the vax and if you are ussing a cloth bag empty and wash ot. If a paper bag, replace it.

All should be well

My vax hoover performance 2200 keeps overheating and cutting out after only 10 minutes

mine too.. I got local place to do a deep clean (sic) of all the filters but its made little difference. Hardly does a room before cutting out and then you have to wait an hour for it to cool down. am veryy disapointed

Vax 2400 performance pet overheating

Unfortunately there is no permanent solution. It is a terrible vacuum cleaner and im getting rid of mine today. I have been maintaining it for 6 months cleaning filters , swapping filters, swapping carbon brushes all to no avail.Dump it. it would'nt **** the air out of a balloon.
