Can I wash my reusable shopping bags in the machine with my other clothes?

first take cloth bag off, held on at bottom with bag clamp, then wash cloth bag in washing machine at 40, inner hose is held on by 2 cable ties top and bottom, your new hose should come with 2 new cable ties, ask kirby agent when ordering, them simply refit.

It depends what the bag is made of, some are made of plastic and I wouldn\'t recommend that you put your fresh produce directly into the bag. Also we tend to not think about washing bags so these reusable grocery bags can be breeding grounds for bacteria. I recommend watching this short video about bacteria in shopping bags.

Kirby salesmen have told many that the new polypropalene bags are reusable, however they from what i can tell are not. sure you can empty them like you could any other bag but filtration is going to be greatly reduced as well as air flow which will greatly reduce cleaning ability as kirbys need air flow to work properly. also reusing these bags could possibly damage machine since it is having to work harder.

The Tech Drive problem SHOULD be able to be fixed easily and fairly cheaply by a vac shop or Kirby distributor. There is an adjustment that needs to be made, but it shouldn't require purchasing any parts.
