Hi,, Its a bit difficult to tell why this is happening as I will need a bit more information to help you fully resolve it. But generally the printer status Is if the printer is Online or Offline. this issue is mostly caused by driver failure..
try this fix it should resolve 80% of the issues that cause this.
1.) unplug the USB cable from your printer to the computer.
2.) Right click on the printer in devices and printers (exact spot where you were showing the printer in the vid) and click remove device.
3.) make sure the printer is powered off
4.) plug in the usb cable back into the printer and another usb port of the computer.
5.) turn the printer on.
windows should detect and reinstall a new driver for that printer.
it should work now. If not let me know and we'll go through a few steps to determine whats happening.

Kodak says that they will not let the print heads be sold at retail... I don't know why, the ESP series printers seem to all need their heads replaced regularly.
SOURCE: My Kodak ESP 3 all-in-one printer will not print
you may try to clean the printhead and recalibrate the printer. if this will not correct the problem, you need to replace the printhead. I suggest contacting Kodak technical support to have a replacement printhead.
