Language set-up mode
In order to enter the language set-up mode proceed
as follows:
1) Make sure the audio unit is switched off.
2) Press and hold buttons 1 and 4 simultaneously.
3) Press the power button and the radio will switch on.
4) Release all the buttons and the display will show
LANGUAGE.
5) Press the << or >> button and the language
setting display will change as follows:
ENGLISH ? FRENCH ? GERMAN ? ITALIAN
?DUTCH?SPANISH?POLISH?ENGLISH
Once the language has been set, switch off and
switch on again the audio unit by pressing the power
button.

Please note that you can also use the Language bar to switch among languages. Click OKto close the dialog box. 5.To set English as the default language for the particular user account, click on the Advanced tab of Regional and Language Options dialog box. Make sure English is being displayed in the drop down box and check the last option in the dialog box. 6.Click OK to close the dialog box and log off for the settings to take effect.

All nuvis should have a full language database, so to switch from your current language to English all you would have to do is go. Tools > System > Language > Change all options to "American English" or " English". This is the same process for switching back to your old language and choosing a new one.

this is the most common method used to change the computer language to
English in Windows XP, it only changes the GUI and sometimes creates
problems with few applications such as Internet Explorer and Outlook

The default control panel display language is set for English.
Supported languages are: English, French, German, Italian,
Spanish, Finnish, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Turkish,
Polish, and Portuguese. Follow these instructions to change the
display language.
1 Switch OFF the printer.
2 Press and hold Select while switching the printer ON until
SELECT LANGUAGE appears in the display.
3 After the power-on self test, LANG=ENGLISH appears. Press
[Value+/-] until the desired language appears in the display.
4 Press [Select] to save your choice. An asterisk (*)appears next
to the language to indicate it is now the default.
5 Press [Go]. The On Line indicator is lit, and display messages
are now in the language you selected.
switch on machine click start>setting >control pannal >clock language region > regional language option > after that select language english if its not changed then enter cd and reformatt it by selecting english language
