Sleep Mode Computer went into sleep mode and now nothing will come on????

    i held the power button down and also took out the battery from button of my laptop...nothin changed

    What model laptop is this? Asus black/coppery gold notebook doesn't mean much. Please post back.

    If you try holding the power key down for a few seconds, nothing happens at all? Further, if you remove the battery for a little bit and replacing it, nothing happens then either? Do you have any status lights lit on the laptop at this time besides the power/charging light? Post back with any more info. I've been checking some forums, and I haven't seen references to your issue yet.



    By the way, on the off chance it's something else, do you know if your laptop is experiencing any heat issues? If it's running excessively hot, current technology will shut your laptop down rather than frying it. Post back.

I find sleep mode nothing but trouble, eventually corrupts window files over extended use, go into power options, go to stand by and select never and click apply, next go to hibernate "top right" and click, make sure the check box is clear, if not! remove check and click apply and restart your laptop.

My netbook wont boot, i turn it on and i will hear the fan but nothing else, i was using it everything was going well, the batery ran out and it went into sleep mode, i pluged it in and since then i canot...
Leave it plugged in for about 10 minutes. The battery just needs to charge a little more. Then you can come out of sleep mode.

If it is locked in sleep mode. Just hold the power button down to shut off the computer. Let it charge, you can now reboot, and keep charging after about ten minutes.

Laptop goes into permanent sleep mode, etc
If you can restart it and it starts up fine, then I would go into the power settings and disable sleep mode. Every computer is different on how to wake a sleeping computer, so you could read through your manuals and find out for yours, but I just disable sleep mode on all computers so i dont have to hassle with it.

Won't come out of sleep mode
Have you tried getting a second monitor ? then using it to get to the desktop and go to power options and set your monitor to never turn off? after that is done try your monitor again and see if that works.

Sleep
If you unplug the unit for an hour or overnight, it should go out of sleep mode. If this dosent work then its not in sleep mode and the set has a problem in the power supply or the sweep circuit. Sorry you should seek a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck
