Came w/truck no idea of model of viper, the led screen should show locked/unlocked, and running if I have remote started. The battery ran low, I changed it before it ran out, but it began only showing the unlock.When I use it, it beeps 2x, but screen continues to show unlock, I have to look to see if light flashing in truck to check if armed and locked. How do I fix this? Do I have to reprogram remote?

this usually means that the remote did not recieve a signal back from the module or the module did not recieve the remote signal
have you tried repeatively to press the unlock button? does the remote starter work or aux( trunk ) ?
also when putting the battery in the remote , be easy because there is a connector plug soldered on the board real close to where the battery is , and if it is hit by the battery hard enough it will cause those solder connections to disconnect and you will get the beeps and or other malfunctions

sounds like the remots have lost two way communication. try to disconnect the windsheild antenna.try remotes again after pluging antenna back in.

Check to make sure that the valet is not engaged. The alarm will notify you by having a constant lit light. If the light flashes like it should open a door and check to see that the light blink on and off as if the alarm were triggered. If this happens the your problem is with the siren, just have it replaced.
