SOURCE: can't view ink levels

The computer or notebook that is connected to the printer needs the bidirectional settings turned on in the bios. To get to your bios you will need to press any one of the keyboard keys given here every two seconds while the Pc begins to start up. You can only try one key at a time. At boot up start pressing the Delete key as mentioned above. You will know when you are in the Bios because there is no mouse support there. Only keyboard. Instructions on how to move around in the bios is listed at the bottom of the window. Next try F12 , F1, F2 or F10.
Once in the bios you will need to find a setting that will allow you to set bidirectional on. You need your manual for this to help you find it. You did not list your Pc model.
You can fallow the instructions given by HP even though these instructions are meant for win2000 they will function in XP.

Post back if this fails & provide me with your model number & name brand of your Pc so I can direct you while in your bios.
Take your time!

Communication established not working

If your trying to retireve codes using the OBD II port and it says something like "unable to communicate" then you need to check the fuse. On most vehicles it is the same fuse as the one for a cigarette lighter or aux power port. If the fuse is good then the PCM might be failing.

97 Jetta GL 2.0 –connected a Code Reader (OBDII compatible) but unable to establish any communication-everything else works as normal- Is there a main fuse which protects the diagnostic link thanks for...

This is what I do, first is to connect my OBDII reader, pull ashtray out, on right side of ashtray, slide front panel out, connect OBDII reader, turn ignition to on, do not start, press read on OBDII, should be able to establish communication. If not then probably connection is bad somewhere from connector to the Digifant Control Unit (brain), there is no fuse in between.

3G connection keeps dropping / device freezes

Hello,

Not sure if you fixed this but I had the same problem with Intermec CK30's a couple of years ago, and it was in relation to the number of terminals using the same username & password to connect to the client server - might be a indea for you to check out.

Make sure the camera is on and STORAGE is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have STORAGE highlighted and select OK on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.
