You need to install the driver accordingly, When you buy the product it comes with installation Disk. If you dont have it now still you have solution simply download the driver from the manufacturer's website

What operating system are you using? It appears, based on other experiences, that the Synthogy UA-4FX fails to function on Windows XP once SP3 has been installed. Is this your situation? If so, uninstall SP3, and you should be set. However, as you installed a new driver, that may come into play if it does not reach a functional state. Further, there are often problems with other devices when this is the case. So, if it is a recent purchase, as it seems from your presentation, it may be a faulty piece of hardware. It's probably your computer, more specifically the type of application you're running it on/in. Also, when you install or fiddle with the settings, you have to be careful because it can be so confusing fixinfg them.
