ATI IXP SB400 AC'97 Audio Controller

Gateway MX7120
Drivers on Gateway's website don't work. Missing Modem and Audio drivers. Both are SB400. User on DriverGuide recommended an HP driver that didn't work either. Can't find anything but other users with the same problem.

no sound works with VISTA and linux but not xp????

Missing drivers for "other devices"

Go to Control Panel - System - Device Manager and right-click on each of the hardware components where you need drivers. There will be a description of each item, so then you can download the drivers. Good luck

www.hp.com would be a good starting point. Compaq is manufatured by HP. There should be a support/downloads page on the website
