Are you having low water pressure to whole house

hi, no we are not , only to the new kitchen tap. The old sink/tap has been placed outside the house and that's fine to use also

Water pressure problems can be caused by a number of different things.

First you should find out if anyone else in your area is having the same issue. If it is an issue with the water system in your area then you wont be the only one experiencing this.

The lack of water pressure could also be an issue with your homes plumbing.

Either way it can be an expensive fix. For city water pressure problems you may have to get a pressure pump in order to increase your water pressure

Yes, water usually goes directly into the tank from the water inlet.
If the pressure is low going in, the pressure will be low coming out.

How do I increase the pressure on my Flotec FP711OT-08. It is low 40s psi, can I move it up to 50 psi or high 50 psi? Water pressure throughout the house is low.

There may be a pressure setting on your outfit but My feeling is -- your problem will be low pressure on your water line. Most pressure settings is to keep from having too much pressure on what your running. For instance our city water pressure is 70 lbs but in order to keep my furnace boiler system at 16 lbs I have to install a pressure reducer.
