Restore the system and the date that the machine was working before.
2) use the ANTIVIRUS+MALWARE, you can have some virus or malware, pass it.
3) if the problem persist, your computer has software diagnostic, use it and you will have the fix it.

SOURCE: Sony Vaio VGN-AR71J Windows 7 upgrade issue

For install fresh copy of windows 7 you need to buy windows 7 disk if you haven't win7 disk.
Then insert windows 7 disk into computer then when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or del or ALT + F2 key to enter in bios then go to boot emnu and set first boot device as cd/dvd rom then save settings and exit.
Then it boot with windows 7 disk then follow the procedure and choose install new windows option.
Then it take 30 to 45 minutes for completing the installation .
Then install driver for windowsd 7 from below link.
Click here
Click on above link then select your model and then windows 7 download all drivers and install then it will work fine.

What is the Error Code?

Usual causes of Internet Disconnection:
1. System is Cluttered by junk files, cache files and other unnecessary files.
2. More client-applications installed that needs server connection
3. Block by your own firewall application


Resolution:
1. Clear History Files, Cache Files, Cookies and Junk Files. You can use CCleaner Application or Advanced SystemCare Application for Mobile to clear History Files, Cache Files, Cookies and Junk Files and even optimize your mobile performance.

2. Temporarily remove client-applications installed that needs server connection.

3. Disable your own Firewall Application temporarily

When I try to open a cookbook I get a dialog box saying Unable to create view: 'cbks'-'open'

I started receiving this same message today also. In addition, when I do a search by ingredient in the Search feature and try to open up the recipe I get the same message with the words 'Rcpe' - 'open' instead of the 'Cbks' - 'open'

I BELIEVE I AM MISSING A FILE CSINSTALL.INI FROM TOSHIBA SWUPDATE. IS THERE A FIX?

restore the machine to some date the machine was working before and then that restore was successful.
Proceed to install again the updates.
However you must RUN the antivirus and malware software for virus or malware.
Normally the HP has a software diagnostic and repair, use it and fix it.

My software upgrades version 4.3 has not updated since dec. 6th, why?

Make sure your clock is set to the correct time. A lot of times you can get an error message when downloading software updates because the time or date is incorrect. Let me know if this doesn't help and we'll dig a little deeper.

Hi i have a Toshiba L300-PSLB1A-01L019 laptop and when i installed windows 7 it removed the software for my webcam. i noticed this has happened to a few people so i went on the toshiba site to dowload the...

After half an hour of searching Toshiba forums, it seems like the US Toshiba driver download site does not have the model L300-PSLB1A-01L019, which you found out. However, the driver can be found from the Australian Toshiba site, which, ironically, does have the model associated with your computer (PSLB1A-01L019). The driver can be downloaded here: http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/file/download/resource/file/17129/tc30049700e.exe.

My modem cant work

633 - The port is already in use or is not configured for Remote Access dialout

This error can occur if:

The modem is actually in use - make sure you don't have other applications that are using the modem. Applications that can use the modem include fax software, terminal software (like HyperTerminal), as well as voice software including software that can make your modem an answering machine or speakerphone.

One way of seeing all running applications is to press CTRL+ALT+DEL and look at the Task List or Task Manager. This will display the actual program names - it may be difficult to pinpoint which, if any, programs are accessing the modem. Terminating tasks are about the only way - however, if you terminate certain tasks, your system may crash or become unstable.

The telephone.ini file is missing or damaged - If the telephone.ini file is missing or damaged, you can create a new one by running Tapiini.exe - this file is in the \windows\system folder. Before you run this, rename the telephone.ini file and reboot your PC if it already exists. Then, run the tapiini.exe file. This program will run very quickly and may not appear to do anything. You can verify the program created the telephone.ini file by searching for it.

The telephone.ini file is a Microsoft Windows file that stores settings for all TAPI-enabled applications including DUNS.

Make sure the modem named in the DUNS entry matches the name of your installed modem - You can check the name of your modem in ControlPanel->Modems.

Windows 95/98 - Can occur if the Unimodem TAPI file (unimdm.tsp) is missing or damaged. See MS KB Q150619

Windows XP - Can occur if another device's driver has a conflict with the modem driver. MS KB 324760 indicates this can occur with older Palm Desktop HotSynch Software.

From the service manual:

A critical firmware error has occurred. This type of error can be caused by invalid print commands, corrupt data, or invalid
operations. In some instances, electrical noise in the cable can corrupt data during transmission to the MFP. Other causes include poor quality parallel cables, poor connections, or specific software programs.

To fix:

1 Turn the MFP off, and then turn the
MFP on.
2 Upgrade the firmware.
3 Try printing a job from a different software program. If the job prints, go back to the first program and try printing a different file. If the message appears only with a certain software program or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.
4 If the message persists when using different software programs and attempting specific print jobs, disconnect all of the cables that
connect the MFP to the network or a computer.
5 Turn the MFP off.
6 Remove all DIMMs and flash-memory cards. Do not remove the firmware memory card that is in slot 1.
7 Remove all of the EIO devices.
8 Turn the MFP on.
9 If the error message disappears, reinstall each DIMM, flash-memory card, and EIO device individually, making sure to turn the MFP power off and then on again as you install each device.
10 Replace the component that caused the error message.
11 If the error persists, replace the formatter.

To upgrade firmware:

The MFP has remote firmware update (RFU) capability. Use the information in this section to upgrade the MFP firmware. The overall process involves the following steps:
1 Determine the current level of firmware that is installed on the MFP.
2 Go to the HP Web site and find out whether a firmware update is available. If an update is available, download the latest firmware to your computer.
3 Transfer the new firmware from your computer to the MFP.

Determining the current level of firmware

To determine the current level of firmware, view the configuration information on the MFP control panel. To view the configuration information, follow these instructions.
1 Press MENU.
2 Touch INFORMATION.
3 Touch PRINT CONFIGURATION. The configuration page prints.
4 The firmware datecode is listed in the section called Device Information. The firmware datecode has this format: YYYYMMDD XX.XXX.X. The first string of numbers is the date, where YYYY represents the year, MM represents the month, and DD represents the date. For example, a firmware datecode of that begins with 20040225 represents February 25, 2004.

Downloading the new firmware from the HP Web site

To find the most recent firmware upgrade for the MFP, go to www.hp.com/go/lj4345mfp_software. This page provides instructions for downloading the new firmware version.

Transferring the new firmware to the MFP

This procedure requires that you install HP Web Jetadmin Version 7.0 or later on the computer. See Using HP Web Jetadmin software. Complete the following steps to update a single device through HP Web Jetadmin after downloading the .RFU file from the HP Web site.
1 Start HP Web Jetadmin.
2 Open the Device Management folder in the drop-down list in the Navigation panel. Navigate to the Device Lists folder.
3 Expand the Device Lists folder and select All Devices. Locate the MFP in the list of devices, and then click to select it.
If you need to upgrade the firmware for multiple HP LaserJet 4345mfps, select all of them by pressing the Ctrl key as you click the name of each MFP.
4 Locate the drop-down box for Device Tools in the upper-right corner of the window. Select Update Printer Firmware from the action list.
5 If the name of the .RFU file is not listed in the All Available images box, click Browse in the Upload New Firmware Image dialog box and navigate to the location of the .RFU file that you
downloaded from the Web at the start of this procedure. If the filename is listed, select it.
6 Click Upload to move the .RFU file from your hard drive to the HP Web Jetadmin server. After the upload is complete, the browser window refreshes.
7 Select the .RFU file from the Printer Firmware Update drop-down menu.
8 Click Update Firmware. HP Web Jetadmin sends the selected .RFU file to the MFP. The control panel shows messages that indicate the progress of the upgrade. At the end of the upgrade
process, the control panel shows the Ready message.

management of a wide range of devices, including HP and non-HP printers. Management is proactive, allowing network administrators the ability to resolve printer issues before users are affected. Download this free, enhanced-management software at www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin_software.
To obtain plug-ins to HP Web Jetadmin, click plug-ins, and then click the download link that is next to the name of the plug-in that you want. The HP Web Jetadmin software can automatically notify
you when new plug-ins are available. On the Product Update page, follow the directions to automatically connect to the HP Web site.
If installed on a host server, HP Web Jetadmin is available to any client through a supported Web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows or Netscape Navigator 7.1 for Linux. Browse to the HP Web Jetadmin host.

Replacing the formatter

1 Slide the formatter cover toward the left side of the MFP and remove it.

New Printer Installation Error

ISSUE: When trying to install an HP LaserJet P2015 printer, a MSVCR80.dll error message is received.
SOLUTION: To resolve the issue, complete the following steps:
  1. Before installing the printer, disable any Anti-Virus and/or Firewall software. To disable the Anti-Virus and Firewall software in Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 2000, press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete simultaneously to enter the Windows security screen. Then select Task Manager , select the Process tab, select Anti Virus and/or the Firewall Image , and end process on the software.
  2. Disable XP firewall. To disable the firewall in Microsoft Windows XP, right-click My Network Places , select Properties , right-click Local Area Connections , and then select Properties . Select the Advanced tab and remove the checkmark from Internet Connection Firewall .
  3. If the issue persists, before trying to install the printer, we suggest you complete follow the steps:
    1. For system clean boot to perform, click Start , click Run , type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK .
    2. On the General tab, click Selective Startup , and then clear the Process System.ini File and Process WIn.ini File , and Load Startup Items checkboxes. You cannot clear the Load system Services and Use Original Boot.ini checkboxes.
    3. On the Services tab, select the Hide All Microsoft Services checkbox, and then click Disable All .
    4. 4. Click OK , and then click Restart to restart your computer.
    5. 5. When the system restarts, click Start , and Printers and Faxes . Delete all the printer icons.
    6. 6. Click Start , click Printers and Faxes , click File , click Server Properties , and then click the Drivers tab.
    7. 7. Select all the printer drivers individually, and click Remove . Remove all the drivers one by one.
    8. Click the Ports tab and delete the listed TCP/IP ports individually by selecting the Port and clicking Delete Port .
    9. Click OK , and then restart your computer.
    10. When the system restarts, begin the installation process. You may insert the installation CD into the CD-ROM and follow the onscreen installation steps to install the printer locally.
      NOTE: Do not connect the printer to the computer until prompted to do so during installation.

Error in Installation CD of HP2015dn

There may very well be a glitch in the HP installation CD. Go to their web site, HP.com. On the home page, left hand side - middle of the page, you will see a link for software and driver downloads. Click on that and then fill in the blanks on the type of printer you have. It should take you to a page that shows all software available for your printer - including the latest drivers. Once you find the driver(s), you can either download the file(s) to your computer and then do the installation - or just run the installation program from HP's web site (probably the easiest way to do it).

If that does not solve the problem, contact HP Customer Care via email or live on-line chat.

E270r Refresh Database error w/ version details error

Try putting the player into "msc" usb mode. "mtp" usually does that, but i've never hear of it being on the comp.
