OK, if it's timing out that means the printer is not visible to the network. When you used the setup disc, you said it found the same address? What address does it detect? It will mostly likely start with 192.168.x.x. During the setup process does it offer to use DHCP vs a static IP address?
Do you know the IP addresses of the 8 machines on your network? You'll want to make sure the printer doesn't use the same address as that would cause an IP conflict and prevent it from working properly on the network. Preferably you'll want to use an address outside the scope. For example, if your DHCP server is set to give out addresses from 192.168.1.1-.20 then you should make the printer 192.168.1.21. Hope this makes sense.
If that still doesn't get you anywhere, connect the printer directly to a PC via USB and make sure you can print. It's possible it's an issue with the printer, but my guess it's just a network config issue.
Don't really know, but probably the copier's hard drive is bad or going bad. You may be able to simply reload the firmware, but if that doesn't work, it may require replacement of the hard drive.
Try to clean the printhead nozzles. From the printer operator panel, press the Setup button > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead. Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them. Try to print your photo again to verify that the print quality has improved.
Also, make sure your printer is udpated. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark Pro200 Series Firmware Update. The update will help give you a highly reliable print system.
If that doesn't help, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
You need to plug in the original USB cord that came with the printer. Once that is done, try again, the computer should re-dectect the printer. If it doesn't, then a security setting on your wireless has recently changed. If so, then you need to re-run the setup that came with your printer.
