Water dispenser not working

Some of these ge frig have a problem with water freezing inside the door and so the water dispenser wont work. only way to be sure it to turn off your frig for about a week and leave the doors open. plug in then try the water dispenser. if this is the problem call g.e. you will need a special kit to solve this problem. it dispenser still doesn't work replace water valve!!!

check the fresh water solenoid on the back of the unit theres a screen in the water line to it that maybe clogged also crak the line lose gently to isure water is passing through it if not? then change the water solenoid

The fridge isnt getting water check supply line and filter.

check the water line fron filter that continues on to water dispfrom icemaker, also a bad water disp solenoid or no pwr to water valve disp solenoid could be a problem,when you try to disp water can you hear a click from the solenoid operating to let water out?

check water valve or water line is kink

Need to check and see if the water filter is stop up ,if you don't have a filter it I would start with water value at the bottom .

I have had a few where the water switch housing that holds the switch breaks and does not allow the arm to hit the switch to turn water on. that is one thing it could be ethier way not to big of an expence to get fixed

check to make sure the valve is not froze if so water cant come thru

check the water valve on the back of the ref. it sends water to the ice maker and water in the door one can work and the other one not

i ihave a side by side samsung rsh1dbbp with ice and water dispenser but the water has stopped working i was wondering if you could tell me how to get the front panel off to check the switches
