Help! We somehow pushed something wrong on the remote for our Sharp TV model 32U-F810 and now the remote does not work. Changed remote batteries. but still wont work

We can manually turn on TV and has blue screen. but no audio and no video.

SOURCE: tv has black box in the middle bottom of screen

sounds like the closed caption has been acidentally been turned on look at the remote see if there is a closed caption button if not look in the set-up menu

two choices, get the keyboard on the set repaired or get an original sharp remote which among remotes is not too expensive.

Has horizontal lines across the tip of the picture, now about 2 inches from top down. What is the cause? Should I fix it or throw it?

This is a vert problem. Most of he time it is a simple capacitor and integrated circuit. Our shop repairs everyday.. est in columbus GA. is around 90.00 . I hope his helps. GOOD authorized shop should be around the same.

We no longer have the remote and are using a universal remote and hooked it up to cable but were unable to get a lot of the cable stations we have access to. We can't select on the menu screen. Can we find...

Something happened while using a universal remote, and now the screen aspect ratio is weird and there are codes on the screen. pressing the volume up and down buttons on the actual tv changes the numbers...

Channel switches on it's own

This is probably a sticking button, similar IR signal from another remote control, or simply a short on the system board that holds the controls. A simple cleaning might take care of this.
