Samsung TXM3296HF problem - tv won't turn on

I was watching my television one morning and all of a sudden the picture went out, but the sound remained. I turned it off...waited a few minutes...and turned it back on and now It won't turn back on. I get nothing, no picture, no sound, nothing. All I hear when I plug it back into the power strip is a clicking/ticking noise coming fomr the back of the tv somewhere. Any ideas on what the problem and/or solution may be?

I have a cxm 2785tp and was watching it when lightening struck close - tv went off. All it does it makes clicking noise out of back and I could not find a reset button readily available. Is there one if I take back off??

Your flyback transformer could be your problem or in the video circuit.have a tech look at your tv for possible repairs.good luck.

My son has locked the television when pressing the remote. the television comes on but without a picture. in the top right hand corner is a lock. help please. we do not have a manual for the television set

I just followed the instructions to program the Samsung remote (Press tv button then press and hold the power button whilst pointing at your TV and type in the code) ....I went through every code until my TV turned off....The code for my Sinotec is 75

if you were using the tv on digital mode then it may just have been lack of signal, if not then make sure all the cables in the back of the tv are securely in the sockets.
