Zenith M52W56LCD picture is turning green.

I see you are very wise in the art of saving eletronic-knowledge deficient people like my self. The picture on my 52" TV is turning green in the middle. It was a big roung spot right in the middle. It looks like it is spreadng. Does the lamp need to be replaced? or is it bigger than that? Please help!

Yeah I have the same problem, a green circle in the center of the screen... not sure if it's the lamp or what, the lamp indicator doesn't say it's time to replace or anything of the sort.

The light engine on your set is burned out.
This is a very complex replacement.
I hope your tv is under warranty repair cause it is expensive.
It happens because the heat from he lamp over time burns out the lcd's that create th ed and blue leaving the gren which is always furthest from the lightbulb (YOUR tv has four lcd's in a row..red, blue, gren and then black.
If you wish to try and replace it yourself there are places online where you can buy a replacement engine.

I have a zenith M52W56LCD that has all green screen, what does this mean?

We have also had this problem before, you need to replace the color wheel. It is fairly simple to replace, just buy one and place it where the old one was.

My zenith hdtv model#m52w56lcd has a green tint.

Go to the Zenith web site. If you have not adjusted any of the default settings for color, brightness etc then a possibility is that your light engine is failing. Just this month a Class action settlement was put in place that entitles owners of this and several other models to have the light engine replaced in home under an extended warranty until July 2010. You should be able to find a toll free number if you follow the link to Class Action Settlement. I did and a service tech is coming to my house next week to replace it at no cost to me. I looked and the parts alone are approx 600 to 1500 bucks. Good Luck!!

Zenith M52W56LCD blue spot in center of screen

It could be as simple as dust contamination in the LE or lcd chip. You need a clean room to work on this area of the unit and NOTHING you can do there would make that possible, short of spending a few thousand to build one. Before we added a clean room enviroment we simply pulled the LE and sent it in to PTS - who has one and reinstalled...
In your case take it to a qualified shop and you'll save yourself a lot of grief..
