The service goes away totally. I brought it to two different nextel stores and it was "updated," one place charged me $35 the other place didn't. It worked for like... two hours and went back to having the same issues. At first it starts that the service is bad, and my calls are getting dropped for a few days. And then the phone becomes useless, except for that I can see the date and time and view my numbers. My numbers aren't getting erased and the battery isn't dying. It just has no service at all. Please help. Thanks so much.

Go to Contacts, go to the name you wish to delete; press menu button and it will give you options one of them is to delete contact

What you need to do, is when you insert the SIM card into the different i730, basically, make sure that the GOLD plate is facing down, THIS IS VERY SENSITIVE, care with caution. Pop it in, and it should work, FYI call customer care, basically to have your MSN *serial Number* updated, due to having different MSN's could cause issues. Let me know how it goes,

I had that same problem. The repair people told me the transmitter was bad. They said it's what makes the phone and the towers communicate.
