I have an HP PSC AllinOne which I have had for approximately 2 and a half years. I have consistently purchased HP genuine ink cartridges 336 and 342 via Phoenix Direct via the Internet. The last order guided me towards Phoenix Direct's own cartridges labelled HP REMAN C9362E (336) and HP REMAN C9361E (342). I have used one of the black cartridges successfully but have recently replaced this also(empty)with another of Phoenix's own and also replaced the colour cartridge with my last HP's own genuine colour cartridge. Basically, I can get no black printout at all and the colour cartridge will only print in blue. I have tried the cleaning process, and printing the diagnostic pages but all to no avail. Can you suggest an answer to this problem please? [email protected]

SOURCE: hp officejet 6110 not printing with black ink

I think I know what is the problem. I refilled my black ink cartridge and it printed for a while, but at some point it just stopped working. The head wouldn't touch the paper. Initially I thought the printer had a problem, but then I discovered that the color cartridge still worked.I had a spare new cartridge so I changed it. Everything worked just fine afterwards. My hypothesis is that HP tracks an identifier in the cartridge and does NOT allow you to refill (I even think they simulate for the cartridge to be failing, but I still have to corroborate this). I think this is outrageous and illegal. Please let other people with the same problem know about it. So, the solution is to stop using HP products.

SOURCE: Print faded after replacing black cartridge Brother 240C

The print heads don't appreciate being out of ink so the Brother printer has sensors to prevent that but the tape defeated that prevention. Maybe more cleanings or maybe a cartridge with printhead cleaning solution will help. Otherwise, I fear a new printer.

Says I'm using the incorrect black cartridge. I'm using 94 just like I'm supposed to.

Are you getting error related to incompatible ink or Ink cartridge defective and this is Genuine cartridge purchased, then check for the Expiry date on the cartridge and call HP support to get assistance.

If the cartridge is defective and if the cartridge is still in warranty, You can probably expect to get a replacement cartridge without charges.

I have a HP 1610 all in one printer. It is going through black ink cartridges very quickly (94 HP ink cartridge purchased from amazon, 1 a month or about 100 pages). I do not print everyday and very...

If you are buying genuine cartridges, check the print settings, you may have it set to high resolution and for the wrong media type.

Genuine HP cartridges are fully filled, compatibles sometimes are not. 100 pages of plain text is ludicrous. I would refer this to Amazon and ask for a refund.

The only other problem may be with a leaking seal, but i would have thought that this would be apparent by now, as ink would have leaked visibly

My HP PSC 1610v keeps saying 'remove and realign color cartridge' even tho I've put in a new cartridge.

Is it a genuine HP?

If yes then there is a fault with the actual cartridge. Check you have removed the tape from the ink outlet if its still on it will cause theis error. If all appears right, try another GENUINE cartridge and claim the faulty one

Hp remfg black cartridge for hp 1610 unreadable

Hi, it is possible that your supplier has a faulty batch of cartridges. The only way to rule this out is to purchase a genuine one, try that and see how you go. Im sure if the problem is the ink , your supplier will be helpful, especially since you have been a customer for 2 years

Ink problem

I had the same problem. This is what The Geek Squad recommended:
1) Make sure your ink cartridge isn't low.
2) Go to Setup on the printer, choose Tools, then choose Clean Print Cartridges
3) Then, go back to Tools and choose Align Print Cartridges

This worked for me -- good luck

Lexmark 5400 all in one

It is observed in branded printer not only lexmark also with HP printers yoou get this same problem.
It is always recomended to use genuine cartridges rather than refilled or any other brand ink cartridges.
As for HP cartridges they are all made under six sigma process where it is very rare you get a ink cartridge issue.
thats why HP Gives 18 months of replacement warranty on its cartridges
The same applies to Lexmark printers aswell
Make a habit of usig Genuine cartridges which will give value for your money.
