Now HP Solution Center opens and snaps shut saying NO HP DEVICE.I also have an HP C6180. I chnaged it from a wired to wireless installation. Use a computer that has Internet connection to download the printer driver then copy the drivers to an USB memory stick and install the printer driver onto your computer using the USB memory stick. You can download the HP printer drivers from their support WEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download :- http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Hope this resolution fix the problem on your computer.
Thanks for contacting Fixya. Bye for now.
This means that your system does not display any printer name under the printer's list even though you would have installed your wireless printer on your Windows Vista system. This could be caused if you have not updated printer drivers in your system or the printer is incompatible with Windows Vista. Also see if the Windows firewall is blocking the printer from being recognized by your system. get more information for HP Wireless Printer Problems . Hope this helps you.
Try This :
Put the CD in the computer ; Goto My computer- Right click on Black HP logo - Click on Explore - Open UTIL (Folder)- Open CCC (Folder)- Double Click on UNINSTALLATION L1 file;
Restart the computer;
Take out the CD and put the CD back in
Install the printer By clicking on add a Device
and reinstall it ..
This should resolve the issue
IF not then again follow the particular Link
Well it s a issues with the ip address on the printer and the
computer.Both of them are not the same.You need to delete the printer
icon and inser the cd that came with the printer and then try add a
device .The printer drivers would be reinstalled and it should be ready
to print and scan. In case it doesnt you can always contact a free online technical support with an online live techbuddies technician at http://tinyurl.com/m7ghqz
This could be from the image you are printing. If you are printing from a computer or memory card, the dpi (dots per inch) may be higher than some.Standard printing is typically 400dpi, and you can change the settings on your computer or the printer directly. Memory cards and some photos from your computer may be 600dpi and will likely take much longer to print since there is more "color information" that it is trying to fill. Let me know if this helps.
Sounds like another Vista Bug, i would check the HP site for this issue and if its under warranty, contact HP. If you have alot of Blue tooth devices hooked up, it may be that its trying to use another device in its place or the signals are getting crossed, im not positive.
Its like when you have to many network drives all hooked up and you plug in a USB device, Windows pops up those anoying bubles saying its detected, but in My computer it doesnt show.
So bassically you have to right click my computer, manage, disk management listed uder storage, right click on the device or drive and change the drive letter to something like " W" or " Z" or anything not in use.
It may be a siomilar case with your bluetooth, youo may have to much stuff connected. Try redoing everything like you have so many other times before, and then limiting how many bluetooth devices you have connected at the same time. see if theres a difference.
I also have an HP C6180. I chnaged it from a wired to wireless installation. I had to delete all HP applications but I idn't delete the printer. I reinstalled the HP software. Now HP Solution Center opens and snaps shut saying NO HP DEVICE.
