SOURCE: Samsung 101cm lcd Mounting??

Yes they are the mounting holes but I would not trust a universal mount to hold an expensive TV set on a wall.

SOURCE: no screws for wall mounting 42 inch tv

any hardware store will have them bring your tv manual with you it will tell you the spec on the screw to connect to the 4 pre existing nuts on the back of the tv as far as from the mount to wall it will be a standard lag bolt small enough to fit threw the hole and long enough to go threw the drywall and about an inch and a half of the studd 2" to 2 1/2" inch lag bolt will work

SOURCE: the backpanel won't come off why? the screws are out

I always miss a screw on LCD Tvs ,they hide screws everywhere. Sometimes they cover a screw with a thin plastic disk so you can't see the screw. Also on some TVs the PC connector has 2 tiny bolts that need to come off. Check around where all your cables go for tiny screws. Also if you still have the pedestal on sometimes they hide screws underneath. once you're sure you have all the screws out gently start pulling/shaking out from the bottom of cover. This usually works for TV 32" and over. Tiny LCD covers are snapped on kinda like how a remote control is put together. You might need a small thin bladed screwdriver to wedge between and gently move and twist when you get near the snap locks.Hope this helps.

My wharfedale tv LCD2610AF keeps goin to standby after ten mins of being on .... iv checked the sleep settings and its not that .... any idea please

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time

Can u take the bit off that attatches the stand because i want to hang mine on the wall?

Yes allmost all flat screens are wall mounteable. It will require find the screws or bolts holding the table mount to tv and removing. If your tv has extra threaded holes on back then it is mountable.

How do you wall mount a 37" olevia tv...there are only two holes showing for screws at the top of the tv and nothing at the bottom

Hi Is it a 32" or 37" as the one you mention at the top is a 32". The product spec doesn't state that it is wall mountable, some aren't. However, providing your two holes are structural and not just into the plastic, what I did with my non mountable TV in a similar predicament to you, is to buy 2 steel rulers off ebay,(£2) drill holes in them to enable them to be screwed to the back of the TV, then where the two existing holes are at the end, used for haning the rulers up, I made into slots so that the ruler now looks like it has a hook on the end. I then drilled holes in the wall corresponding to the same on the TV, shove rawl plugs in and then the screws leave about 5mm - 8mm head out of the wall in and literally just hook the TV on the wall. Fit nice and flush & saves a fortune in rip off brackets too.

WHARFEDALE LCD2610AF WHEN I TURN ON DIGITAL I HAVE PERFECT PICTURE &SOUND.AFTER 10 TO 30 MINUTES THE PICTURE FREEZES AND THEN SCREEN TURNS WHITE WITH AGREEN HORIZONTAL BAND LOWER HALF OF SCREEN.WHEN...

Hi.

If the picture & sound are ok in analogue mode then chances are you have problem with digital tuner.
This may be expensive to repair so I would advise connect external freeview box or sky etc to get digi channels using scart to connect to your TV.

Black/Green Distortion - Picture Quality - Wharfedale

This is no solution but a point in a probable direction.

A tech guy told me ALL the LCDs they have seen in their repair shop have "swollen" capacitors, this is due to voltage instability. Lowering the internal voltage regulator and replacing the swollen capacitors (which eliminate noise) apparently restores the LCD to new working quality. Without actually "seeing" my problem the tech said that should repair it. I have not tried this yet but eventually will begin that way.
