What are the best settings for this model for the best picture and sound quality samsung plasma display. model PS50A457P1D. model code PS50A457P1DXXU?
Hi can i just add? I have recently got this tv but for some reason when i set setting to Normal they reset to dynamic?? After about twenty mins? I keep having to change back to normal or if i set it to perfect brightness etc... it just goes back to dynamic again? i.e cell light 100% and contrast up to 100%!
Why is this??

Try this.... First, go into picture menu and reset it. Next turn contrast all the way up. Turn the sharpness all the way down. Make sure the tint is in the middle. Adjust brightnesses accordingly. If that don't work, just drop me a line and i will explain more

hello ive just bought a samsung plasma off my friend and its about a year old and yesterday i set it up and get a fine picture untill about a hour or so of being on it starts geting blue sparkles round the outside of the tv mainly on the left side and seems stronger when sport is on ive tryed doing different things but nothing seems to work?i have also bin told that plasma tvs have to have gas put in them every so often is this true?i dont no which samsung model it is but it is 42inch and is full hd ready and is black with the round circle on the front of the tv can you help me?

Best is kind of subjective since each person's eyes are different. If you are looking for a bright and vivid picture, you can go to the picture mode and change it to that setting. Usually it is called something like "Vivid" or "Dynamic." Besides that, it is all user preference. Most people prefer to just use the factory default settings.
