Once it's gone, it's gone.
You can try loading the firmware update from Philips website, but this is unlikely to resolve.

Philips HDD – Reloading the Firmware Hack

1. Plug your GoGear HDD into the computer
2. From ‘My Computer’ right click the GoGear drive and format it. Be SURE you format it as FAT32 and quick compression is not on
3. Create 3 folders on the newly formatted disk called: ‘_System’ , ‘Data’ , ‘Media’
3. Download fom Philips the latest Device Manager for your kind of player
4. Install the Device Manager
5. On the Desktop, right click the Philips Device Manager shortcut, then Properties, then open file location.
6. Copy the folders you see there into the ‘Data’ folder
7. Copy the Firmware.ebn file into the ‘_System’ folder
8. Unplug the device and now it should run fine

How do I erase all the song in the memory

Connect the mp3 player to a computer, go to start > computer > either double click the 'Removable Disk' drive and then you can erase, or you can right click the removable disk drive and select [format], which will erase everything.

I accidently changed the partition on hard disk and lost data, how can i recover it. secondly my hard disk show 55.57 GB instad of 60. what i may do?

I use a comercial package called AcronisDisk Manager, but there are semi free packages (Demo) out there that you can try.

If you have not altered the drive other than erased a partition then it can be recovered.

I refer you to http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/229699-32-erased-partition-external-hard-drive-mistake-help for a goodly amount of people that have done the same thing and many solutions.

I killed my mp3 player

Try reistall drivers / software or both included on the CD which cames with the mp3 player. If you have lost the CD you can always reffer to the manufacturer's website.
