Aeg santo 1688 fridge power/light flashes when door open

The fridge works fine with the door closed. When opening the door the interior light comes on but then starts to flash together with the leds on the control panel approx every 2 seconds. Its more annoying than anything but wondered whether it would be a cheap fix?

Check if the bulb is loose in its socket, you may be able to twist it to tighten it, turn off the power first though.

I have an AEG SANTO OKO fridge unit only about 1 year old. We just cannot open the door without it being pulled 2 inches on every open. I have since placed it on a rubber mat with no success

You have very good door-seals,
with strong magnets on the refrigerator.
I suspect, You must pull hard to open the door.

Does the fridge have 2 wheels?
It may only stand firm on 2 "legs" and not 4.
This problem is the first, I ever heard,
I do not know this model,

If it is a Refrigerator that is not very heavy, this can happen.
When the door seals are very good, what can happen is

The door has been closed and the air inside the fridge becomes cooler and cooler.
The air inside the food-compartment contracts,
because it cools down and pulls even more on the inside of the door surface, actually pulling the door shut.
( a negative air-pressure inside the fridge) compared to
the outside of the refrigerator.

A trick I am using
is,
1.)
I place my finger between the door and the cabinet-frame.

2.)
Then, with the finger, index or middle finger,
I push gently
against the Door-Seal (Gasket).
for 1 or 2 seconds,
This allows the
Air from outside, (higher pressure)
to flow into the food compartment of the fridge
and now it is easy to open the door.

Let me know if this works for you.
Appreciate to be alive and be kind to others.

I have an AEG Santo 72348 ka fridge that is supposed to be self defrosting. Mine regularly freezes up inside. Any help ?

Usually this is a symptom of a faulty door seal or a very frequently opened fridge they extra moisture load from the environmental air.

No ice in the ice dispenser since yesterday

the trouble is coming from eithier the micron switch located at the backof the paddle,or the auger motor. It is the motor that rotates when you press the cube dispenser lever located at the back portion of the icebucket,it might got stucked.or its winding is open Try to hve a check ,first open the freezer door, pull out the icebucket, look fr the light switch then maintain the door open, use your right hand in pressing the switch to simulate a closed door position, next use your left hand to press the cube dispenser lever, if the auger motor rotates and you heard a humming sound, it means it is only your ice cubes that sticked together preventing the motor to rotate freely,or there is something wrong with your bucket only,if your hear humming sound only, the auger motor is stuck up, unplug the unit, removed all the screws securing the bracket, disconnect the wiring connector, pull out it out,try to thaw the froozen motor if it is still stuck, wait a longer more or try to apply wd40 oil in between the entangled rotor and core, lubricte. If you hear nothing the winding might be open or there is no supply to the motor., point of check- micron switch- check for continuity, wiring leading to it and the line goin out to cabinet/inside, check the main connector to the bucket area for corrosion or accumulated dirts, And lastly if you are not confident enough to do the job sir better to calla qualified technican to do the troubleshooting sir, safety is our first priority.

Aeg santo fridge water leaking into door seal and runs onto floor when opening the door, also the door has incredible suction after closing and is difficult to open soon after closing

Had the same problem. I'd already tried waggling the drain rod from inside the fridge but to no avail. I pulled out the fridge and pulled off the 'top hat' end on the very end of the corrugated drain pipe. Inside was pretty gunky.
Just clean it thoroughly especially around the little rubber mushroom and the problem goes away. Simples

AEG Santo Fridge 3774-6KA

Check the damper between the fridge and freezer. It may be broken or frozen open. If this happens and you have a water reservoir in the fridge then it could freeze and crack - leak and then flood your house... Shut off the water supply until you get the problem fixed.
