All the lights are flashing on the temperature display , the fridge gets very cold , unable to set fridge to correct temperature, have to turn off fridge to control temperature it keeps freezing up . [HELP]

Check the damper between the fridge and freezer. It may be broken or frozen open. If this happens and you have a water reservoir in the fridge then it could freeze and crack - leak and then flood your house... Shut off the water supply until you get the problem fixed.

Fixya will not let me post links today, or their "capcha" thing does not seem to be working properly, so I will have to try this another way.

I've done some research on your issue and it seems that should only happen if the temperature sensor goes bad, or the evaporator sensor. Each of the two parts cost less than 30 pounds each, so may be less expensive than tossing out the whole thing.

Try browsing to shop (dot) aeg (dot) co (dot) uk
Then in the search at the top right, type in "santo" and look for the two sensors and decide if it would be worth a try.

How do i set my temperature on my fridge freezer its a aeg santo ?

Hi

The santo was originally built with a standard thermostat, this is graduated from 1 to 6 where 1 is the warmest setting and 6 is the coldest, normally you would set this to btween 3 and 4 and adjust it slightly to your favourite.

Fridge freezer not keeping temp

Hi,

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer

and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

hi tracy, think its possibly better getting a repair guy in as this fault is not streight forward. possibly a fault in the defrost circuit, or freezer fan not functioning, or possibly a leak in the system. all theese areas need testing equiptment.
