I have the same problem: the washer doesn't do anything!

Which front panel do you mean? The slanted panel under the dryer? Or the panel with the knobs that you set to start the washer/dryer?

And is the fuse on the left? There are two smallish things that insert into the machine? (this is in the slanted panel under the dryer).

    Much appreciated and thanks.

Ok. I've opened the front panel of the washing machine.
Saw the fuse and it appears to be ok.
What else could this be please?

    Thanks for your help.

HI. thanks for the question. you have a blown fuse ,inside the washer. remove the front panel. on the left ,you will find a small glass fuse .check that. if its failed you will be able to see, that the small metal strip inside the fuse is broken , if so replace the fuse. thanks the appliance doc . please rate my answer.

CHANGE THE DRYER BELT MODEL LSE7800ACW MAYTAG WASHER/DRYER COMBO

Hi...you can go to the following website and check out how the belt goes on the dryer.
On a front load dryer, you would normally remove the front to expose the drum and belt, after you remove the drum then that exposes the drum rollers, motor, idler arm pulley, etc.

Hope this helps

I have a stackable Maytag. The water will not

I had a similar problem I just fixed. There is a fuse inside that keeps the water from filling if it's blown. Might try changing that first.

Dryer Drum Won't Spin

Reach inside and grab ahold of the baffle. Try to spin the drum, it should have resistance. If it spins freely you have a broken belt. Hope that helps. Dave ww.washermd.com

Maytag washer

This is similar to a problem I had after my power suddenly went out while the washer was filling with water. When the power resumed the washer would no longer run water... all other systems (agitate, drain, spin) worked fine.

A 10 minute, $113 dollar service call revealed that there was a fuse inside the front upper left area that had blown. Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the front panel to get access to the inside.

Check it out and replace it if necessary.

Maytag Washer/Dryer stackable

well i am having about the same problem, but mine won't even fill, the dryer works but the washer won't fill or turn on at all. my husband had it all apart, too the control assembly to parts place and they said that hardly ever goes bad so it is still sitting unusable with no answer or money to spend on it in site.

Maytag lse7800acw

The motor is faulty. Either the relay contacts are stuck or there is a shorted winding. Best to replace the motor.
