I lost my cd and need to reinstall it on my new computer so it can work

1. Remove the hard drive, from new PCs, and replace with hard drives from old PCs. Then turn it on.
2. After the computer is on, install the motherboard drivers, and restart.
3. After the driver install process is complete, turn off the PC,
then plug the new hard drive.

So, the hard drive from old PC is a master, and the hard drive from the new PC is a slave.

My laptop acer aspire4730z i got problem with my cd-rom(can't run)Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ...my cd-rom drive(tsstcorpcd...

You have one of two problems....

1 - The driver for the cdrom drive has become corrupted somehow and needs replacing. Go out to the ACER website and download the cdrom driver specific to your make and model of computer (it is IMPORTANT that you provide specific information in the window boxes to get the correct driver for your hardware.) Once you have the new driver, uninstall the device from within Device Manager. Reboot the computer and when Windows proclaims it has found a new device, select to install the device driver from a specific location. Browse to the folder where you expanded the drivers and let Windows install and update the drivers from that location. OR the other possibility is....

2 - Your cdrom drive has died. Remedy, have it replaced.

New hard drive not reconized, motherboard drivers

I had this problem on a computer recently. This particular motherboard may be needing the driver on the Windows XP SP2 disk. Your motherboard may have been made to use Microsoft SATA drivers. Othewise, there would have been a driver disk that came with the motherboard to let it see that SATA hard drive.
If it's a new hard drive, you have to reinstall the O/S so use a disk new enough to have SP2 included.

Hi I have a WD1200BEVS hard drive making a musical two tone buzz. Any chance for repair?

If you can boot up your computer, I would back up your data before your hard drives fail completely. It is unusal to have both hard drives go at the same time.
Mere mortals such as me and you cannot repair hard drives, basically buy new ones to replace the faulty drives.
To reinstall Windows on your new hard drive, you will need the Windows XP or Vista CD install disk plus all the device drivers for all the installed devices in your computer (eg. video, audio, LAN etc.) and install those that Windows could not install.
Make sure when you download these device drivers that you select the ones that is specific to the version of the Windows operating system you installing.

Hard drive replacement w/system restore disc

After installing the new hard drive, you'll need to boot the computer from the recovery disk and follow the instructions to format the drive and install windows. You'll also need to install drivers from the driver disk after Windows is up and running. If the computer won't boot from the recovery disk, you'll need to access the "setup" utility and set the CDROM drive as the first boot device. To access the setup utility, press the Delete key after turning on the power. I hope this helps!
