I can ping to the drive (after assigning a static ip), but cannot be identified by network.

I am having the same problem. Once I start the storcenter, blue light start flashing and then in a minute or so it changes to red light. The solutions posted earlier are not clear.

It means your harddrive is not recognized properly in NAS for that reconnect harddrive to NAS then check. You can access your NAS in network with it's ip so it means network is fine but issue with harddrive recognization in NAS. So make sure harddrive is working fine and detected on NAS. Also access NAS with it's ip then reset all settings then reconfigure it and share.Then check.

Confused dot com.

You say it is directly connected to your first computer, not through a router.

That may be your problem.

Try connecting it to the router. Putting it in the same network as your group of computers, and run the finder software on each pc.

Iomega storcenter ix2-200 hard reset

Please help with this issue.
I can access the drives but cannot access the system webpage and configuration. I am using the same ip address as above but page is not loading. the iomega storage manager is also not working even after updating to the latest version. Please help.

I have the Iomega ix2 2T iCloud edition and forgot my admin password. How do I access it? (even if I have to reset everything)

At the back of the drvice there is a little reset swtich, located just above the rear usb port. Take a small object (eg. a paperclip) and press the button for 4 seconds. This should reset the password and disable the security.
