Trouble connecting to AOL after re-installing latest version

After experiencing problems connecting on lst try, I thought there was a glitch in my AOL software. I uninstalled old and downloaded new 9.1 version from AOL site. I am still having problems. I have no trouble connecting to Internet Exp. on lst attempt but do not use that browser as a rule. I get an error box when I first turn on computer but just close it out, it goes away. I can't remember exactly what it says but will copy it and past it with next question. Thanks PPWhite

    The error was related to a program I downloaded a while back then decided I didn't want it and uninstalled it. When I ran MSCONFIG two fragments of the program I uninstalled were still there and checked. I unchecked them and now do not get the error box. I would like to remove those fragments from my computer. Or will it suffice to just have them unchecked for start up? Thanks for your help on the other problem. PPWhite

Something is conflicting ,try this .Click run type msconfig .A window should pop up ,then click on startup and uncheck everything.hit apply then ok . restart computer now if it works it was a program conflicting .if it doesnt work uninstall all of aol including all version and everything pertaining to aol .make sure there is no aol files .Restart computer and install latest aol software.

The update may have simply failed or needs a restart. First try restarting your computer. If this does not resolve the issue, then computer remove the Yahoo! IM. Download the latest version. Restart your computer. Then install the new IM.

Try installing the latest WEBcsm driver.

I try to sign in in yahoo messenger, but have sign in problem my account has been locked (81003003)

This problem is all over the place, but people are misunderstanding the problem. It only occurs with INCOMING video (sometimes after just a few SECONDS). OUTGOING video is fine (so it's not a problem...

  1. Most Programs Don't run 64 bit operating systems very well nor have the driver support 32 bit will work fine setting that aside open internet explorer left click tools go to compatibility view settings check display all websites in compatibility view. And read below as well if this is no fix go to skype support for more help.This sounds like your problem is yours in settings .
  2. Update your Windows with the latest Service Packs and updates, available via Windows Update.
  3. Then reinstall Skype.
  4. After installing Skype it's important to adjust your firewall settings.
  5. Ensure you have the latest device drivers for sound and video (available on the device manufacturer's website).
  6. Make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX (the core multimedia component of Windows) installed on your computer.
How can I see how much bandwidth a Skype video call is using? To see how much bandwidth is being used during a video call for:

  1. Go to: Tools > Options > Advanced > Advanced settings
  2. Tick option Display technical info during calls
  3. Click Save

I installed ubuntu 9.04 version in toshiba satelite640 model in that inter net was not connecting to install my ubuntu files please suggest me to clear problem

Are you trying to connect wirelessly? or via ethernet? It is fully possible that your hardware does not have support with the version of Ubuntu you are using. I recommend getting the latest revision on a cd or dvd and installing from there.

I cannot seem to find a solution to this glitching problem.

You must install the chipset driver first and then the other drivers.You also need to uninstall the drivers the operating system installed when it was put on,one by one and in return install the correct drivers,chipset first.Also if a bios upgrade is available with your driver download,do the bios upgrade then the chipset and then the other drivers.If your having problems after installing the drivers you have (if they are the correct ones), sounds like a communication problem between your bios and operating system.
