Dell Inspiron 530 Blue Screen

I cannot get my computer to the windows screen. No matter what I do I end up at a blue screen with STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190444, 0x83956008, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000. I tried running diagnostic however I can't get to windows to see the results. I tried using the operating system reinstallation disc but all it does is take me to a blank windows screen with a huge pointer i can move but it doesn't do anything. I waited for 30 mins to see if something would load up but nothing. I'm not sure what to do any ideas?

    • 1 Backup all your computer files. This means you need to save important documents like essays, data sheets, presentations, programs, etc. You can easily store it to a flash drive or on a floppy disc.
    • 2 Search for the operating disc that came with the computer. If you have lost it, you can always purchase a new one for your operating system. Remember, in order to repair Windows blue screen of death error, this disc is needed otherwise it just won't work.
    • 3 Now put your disc into the computer and restart your system. It will prompt you to press a key in order to boot from the CD. It may not show up though if your computer isn't set for booting from the CD, so you need go into the computer Bio to change the settings.
    • 4 Now you will see the win xp blue screen error again with words appearing at the bottom of the screen.
Press continue and hit F8 once you see the agreement document come up.
    • 5 To fix blue screen of death, pay attention to this detail for the next page. You will see a Repair, Delete Partition and Quit options. Push R for repair. If you cannot find this option, it should say Partition which is a part of the computer memory. Fixing blue screen of death was easy, eh?

My Dell Inspiron E1405 is getting the blue screen of death before starting up windows xp. It has the stop codes 0x00000024 (0x001902FE, 0xF8C7E4D4, 0x0F8C7E1D0, 0x83622816) it tells me to uninstall any...

STOP 0x00000024, 0X0000024, 0X24 or NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM = this stop error means that your NTFS file system is corrupt and this is practically impossible to fix - absolutely everything on your hard disk is trashed. The only reliable way to fix that is to reinstall Windows.

I have a blue screen with stop: 0x00000024 on it and it wont go away and let me on my laptop can you help please.I dont know what this is I have tried to reboot but the blue screen with this message keeps...

Usually if you've encounter a blue screen the first cause of this should be the RAM. Check the RAM maybe it is clogged by the dust you need to clean the RAM. If the same things happen you must reset also the CMOS battery and the jamper. The jamper located near the CMOS battery at the south bridge.

Won't boot

Here is the cause, and I think you will have to re-install the operating system. Not knowing your machine model number, I have no idea if the operating system recovery is imbedded in the hard drive or not.

If you receive a blue Dell line across the top of the screen during power up, press F11 to see if you can get into the recovery mode. If so, just follow the instructions.

Blue screen

First off next time you get that bsod error message write down the actual numbers on the blue screen those can be looked up for a more accurate meaning to the error.

If you can get a "copy" of Windows XP and use your Valid License number (probably on the bottom or back of the PC on a sticker) it will still work just fine and is legal.

Blue Screen Error Message

Looks like you've been getting two different Stop errors...

The 1st error, 0X00000024, aka Stop 0x24, is a Windows 2000 error. (XP is just an updated version of 2000) Microsoft gives an explanation here.

For the 2nd error, starting with 0x000000ED, Microsoft's solution is here, with additional help here.

Blue screen with error message on startup

Most likely problem is a physical problem with the hard drive, but could be plenty of other things. Best bet is to back up your information (if possible) and do a fresh windows install, if you continue to get the message after a clean windows install, your hard drive is not stable, and has a problem.
