It depends on the size and the resolution or pixels of your unit plus the manufacturer, and brand usually it would cost you 400-500 $ without labor for a size of 20-30", this is just an estimate, if this is still under warranty go to your reseller asap for immediate repair

cheers

How do replace a broken screen on a Vizio E420VL 42 in HDTVReady LCD TV

Screen is part of the display panel and means set is finished---cost of part if even available exceeds at the wholesale level the cost of a new set.

Plasma and LCD sets have fragile display panels and can easily be destroyed.

We have a 37" LG 37LC7D flat panel TV and we have broken the screen. (Wii game) Everything else on the TV is good. Is there any way to repair or replace the screen? Would appreciate your help. ...

It is so sad that you got your screen broken.

Yes you can have a replacement screen but you might need to locate the manufacturer service center around you at your location. I have had a replacement before too. It will not cost so much.

Good luck and rate this.

The part is probably more than the cost of replacing the unit - typically $900 to $1200.

Lg plasma tv lg rt42px10

If your screen has cracks running inside the display then you will need a replacement screen. The Plasma screen is the most expensive part and would cost almost the price a new TV as there would also be a labour cost to add on.
