Post the Make, Model of computer and your OS? Has it worked before? Connected to the computer before?

Did you capitalize Admin? It's capitalized in the manual, and user names are usually case sensitive.

If you can't get through the login process, you probably won't get the connectivity, either.

The manual says set the switch on the back to 3g mode during setup. After checking that, you might try using the RESET button on the back - while the router is powered, press and hold for 10 seconds and release. After the router restarts, reboot your computer and try connecting again.

For each PC that needs to connect to the DIR-412 wirelessly, you must ensure that the correct Wireless Network Name (SSID) and encryption key has been entered.
Windows 7 On your computer, go to Control panel --> Network and Sharing Center and Click on "Connect to a Network then select on the Wireless Network Name (SSID) and enter the password/encrytion key.
Windows XP On your computer, go to Control panel --> Network Connection then under the network task pane select View available wireless networks then then select on the Wireless Network Name (SSID) and enter the password/encrytion key.

plug the usb modem into usb slot of pc as normal.
Bridge the connection between the internet connection and ethernet router connection in network page.
Set router to ip add etc and it should share net access while pc is turned on atleast.

access your router using 192.168.1.1 username/passwd if not altered should be admin/admin u can set your ip (static ip) and i do not see why you can not assign an ip for your cam, my guess is you want to veiw you the camera feedback across the Internet. there various ways of doing this just remember that your cam is connected to your local network not to the Internet. good luck

First try a new LAN cable between you router and the internet modem. Reboot both your modem and router. Connect directly to you internet modem to make certain it is staying connected to the internet. If not then you have a modem service issue. If OK, then The final solution is a factory reset of your router. You can do a factory reset by logging into the router using you browser. Go to the settings and perform a factory reset

If you forgot the router password, you ill have to do a factory reset by locating a small hold on the back of the router and insert the tip of of paper clip for about 10 seconds while the power is on. The router will be reset to out of box status and then you can ssets-up form scratch.

Make sure that the ethernet card of your computer is installed properly. Go to Device Manager of your system and check the Network Adapters. If you see a BANG or an Exclamation or a Question Mark it means that you need to download the latest driver on the website of your motherboard or Laptop

Here are a few simple things to check:
If your PC is connected via wireless:
- Make sure you didn't go out of signal range
If your PC is connected via wired cable:
- Make sure the cable is secured into your router
If both check out:
- Check the cable between your router and internet modem.
If all connections are solid:
- Try using a different cable from the PC to the router, and from the router to your internet modem. Cables can go bad, and a new one could be an easy fix.
If all else fails, you may have experienced an intermitted connection issue:
- Try unplugging your internet modem and router for 30 seconds, then plug in your internet modem first and after 60 seconds plug in your router.
- Try restarting your PC

If none of those work, contact your Internet Service Provider.

check the connections between the router and the modem either cable or dsl or whichever
and change the setting in the router interface so you know what the ssid is being broadcasted and the network key
