If the card has a slide switch on the side, move it to the unlocked position.

Memory card is locked on casio exilim optical 3x

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My digital camera & my computer unable to connect b/c i don't have the soft ware for casio, exilim optical 3x, 7.2 mega pixel, can i have this for free ?

You don't need any special software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Take out the memory card from the camera. Look at the edge of the card for a very small plastic switch. Change the switch position to unlock position and put the card back in the camera.

Whenever i insert the 4 GB SDHC memory card into my Exilim casino digital camera(12.1 mega pixels), nothing appears on the screen and it wont work. Why? It wasn't like this before :/

First, check try the card in another device, does it work, if no, the card has possibly failed, if yes check your user guide, make sure this camera can accommodate a 4gb SDHC card, if yes, check 2/3s up the left hand side of the card, is there a sliding notch offering a choice of lock and open, unlock the card.

Card is locked on casio exilim 8.1 mega pixels camera

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

The camera says in the screen that the card is locked The memory card is locked and I cant figure out how to un lock it is in the set up or what do I do ? my camera is EXILIM 8.1 Mega Pixels

I've never fiddled with this brand of camera, but there will be the option to lock the pictures in the menu. In your manual, look for "memory", "locking your pictures", things like that. Also, some memory cards have a plastic tab that slides to lock the card- make sure that isn't in the lock position, if your card has one. Good luck, and hope this helps.
