Tip & How-To about Televison & Video
Did you throw away your operation manual for your device or lose it?
Don't worry, there are lots of places to get new ones, and many are free.
First I would check the manufacturers website. To find their site google the manufacturers name and click to link to it. It should be obvious where to go to get the manual but generally most manufacturers will have a pull down tab marked service and support or product support followed by a tab for manuals. Click on the manuals link, plug in your model number and you should be able to download a pdf version of your original manual which can be printed. You will need Adobe Reader to download and open the files. If you do not have it you can get it at http://get.adobe.com/reader/ .
All the manuals at http://www.retrevo.com are free and generally they have most manuals you would need. Manuals for almost any electronic device are available. Certain models have service manuals available. If they do not have what you are looking for they have a process to submit manuals for them to acquire. In addition to operation manuals they also have recommendations on electronic equipment which could be helpful if you are looking to buy a new piece of equipment.
Another site http://www.usersmanualguide.com/ also has a good selection of operators manuals for just about anything. They are also free and downloadable.
As a last resort almost any service manual can be purchased at http://www.servicemanuals.net for $16.00 USD and downloaded for immediate use.
Check them out!!
