Mitsubishi WD-60735 Projection Television - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have a Mitsubishi wd-60735 TV. it is in an unheated garage. Will the cold winter temperatures damage anything? Do I need to bring it inside?
it used to be an issue from when older projection TV's were fluid cooled , but modern lcd projection tv (like this one) don't have any issues in cold weather other than it will take several minutes till picture comes into focus in extreme cold weather , but should not give any long lasting effects once its up at operating temps one thing though don't move it once its hot during cold weather or lamp light source will go out , one thing that will cause long term problems is if its subjected to high humidity (water) this causes all sort of corrosion problems in sets of all types

How do you clean inside the screen of my TV
You can use compressed air but it will leave the dust inside. If you remove the bezel you can take the front face off and clean it that way. I would not recommend using cleaning solvents to clean the screen use a dry cloth. The screws are on the back side along the edge of screen.

Mitsubishi wd 60735 dlp tv red lamp light
A common issue and it may be your problem is dust and dirt inside the unit---the set intakes air from the front and exhausts it out the rear==I have seen several of these sets where removing rear cover and taking stthe set outside and blowing it with a air compressor clears the issue.Fans and other critical items that get clogged or coated with a moderate amount of dust will cause this issue.

Why does my mitsibishi wd-607365 has white and black dots on it
After years of usage, the Mitsubishi WD-60735 starts to show some white dots, they begin to increase day by day all over the screen.
The problem is related to the DMD chip Part# 276P595010.
The part is about $200 you may find it used and cheaper on ebay.
Good luck

When turn on tv with remote and without remote it
I have the same tv. Something to remember is that the picture is lamp powered. It takes about 30 seconds to power on and takes about a minute to fully power off. I had issues when trying to turn on the TV, accidentally double tapping the button, which would turn it back off. I'd do the same when trying to turn off the tv.
If you are sure this isn't the issue and the lamp light is still on once the tv turns off, most likely your bulb is burnig out. You can find replacement bulbs on the internet. They are fairly easy to install yourself, so you shouldn't have to have the tv serviced.
If the bulb seems fine, your tv could possibly be overheating. In that case, make sure the vents are cleared as the tv gets pretty hot.
