Then switch on the GoGear using the Power On/Off key this is a pretty sophisticated player you need windows media player 11 and your copy of windows updated and the player updated as well also try to leave the player hooked up overnight 4-6 hours to fully charge battery i hope that the player did not get dropped or wet/submerged hope this helps

plug in the cable from computer to mp3 , some times the mp3 players need to install a driver or software, install the software and fallow the instructions, if not jus plug in the cable from computer and wait for a windows apear is doesnot apear, go to my pc and find the removable disc and find the music file , copy the music you want there

Whenever you connect mp3 devices to a PC the device has to be properly ejected from the PC otherwise it risks getting frozen. Getting frozen comes as a result of unfinished processes on the device.
Solutions for this can usually be time consuming as mostly i would just advice you allow the player some down time as these things usually sort themselves out.
But to jumpstart the process if the battery can be pulled out then take out the battery for about 1 minute and then put it back this automatically resets the player but if the battery cannot be taken out then you just have to wait for the battery to run down and the unit will turn itself off and therefore restore itself.
Point of advice portable storage devices with such high memories are usually prone to high freeze rates.

Hi there,

Well there is no small cd that include gogear software or user manual, but you can burn the software and user manual to a small size blank cd, first of all you need to check the space taken by the software and user manual, If it take less then 200 mb then you are able to right them on a small cd. Please post comments for further help or information......

HAve you reset the ipod, if there has been a crash/fault the ipod need to be reset, look out for a tiny hole through which you can use a small pin to press and hold for reset. Hope you get this right. good day
