Is there a normal size cd disk for gogear mp3 video player software and user manual because i dont have a spot to insert the miniature ****. i have a xps m1330 dell with vista. my new mp3 player s/n is mt1e1018045152 and i dont want to give my credit card number out . thank-you

Philips may offer software to manage the files you put on the player or convert videos to a usable format for the player. I would check out the Philips site for any software to download. I have a Sony and there was some very usable software there to use. Hope this Helps Fix Ya up.

This mp3 / video device willl require a converter program for putting videos in the matching format before transferring to the player.

For the correct downloads for your player select the GoGear Flash 4GB on this search page listing all 4GB Flash players:

Select your exact player model from the list. 2 Players are on this list.
When having another model, enter the typical name / size / functions in the search bar.

Once selected the exact model all support for the GoGear will be available:
updates; frequently asked questions; quick start guide; user manual and software & drivers downloads.
Media converter software can be downloaded as a zip file.
Right click and select "Save Target as..." the zip file to a location on the computer.
Next unzip the file.
Finally run the Arcsoft mediaconverter for conversion of your videos into
the fitting format for your player.

You have to use the Philips (Arcosft) Media Converter to transfer videos. If you have lost your installation CD, you can get it from Philips website. Here is a link to the user manual:
