Panasonic TH-50PV30 50 in. Plasma Television Questions & Answers
How do you remove the
Never owned the this TV, but from what I can tell the outside edges on either side should have a series of screw holes. Even if you can't see the actual screws, there are philips head and there are in the bottom of those 4 or 6 holes. Take those out to get the TV off the stand.
Those may also be covers for a less complex connect to the spot where the additional speakers normal mount. Either way, remove still starts there.

Tv keeps switching itself off
When that happens - try unplugging the tv for a few minuets & plug it back in.. Sometimes it will reset its self.. Or it could be a bad sercut or maybe a falty power suply.. Electronics is usually process of illimination - unfortunately..

TV goes onto sleep mode while watching and cannot
Hi well whenever this happens it is always the micro controlling the unit, that or some fault that affects the main controller and "Glitches" it, sometimes it can be caused by a damaged power supply, and the "Spikes" get through to the processor and cause it to do what you describe. Please find below a link so you can download a copy of the service manual, should you wish to DIY?However should you not wish to DIY, and I do NOT recommend it, my advise is to contact a local or head office from Panasonic, and ask them for a referral to an authorised service center, now ,make contact here and ask for a service call, or better yet, take the unit to the repair place, in any event when in face to face contact ONLY ask for a "Quote" this way you can be appraised of what's wrong and prospective costings, and you can than at the least make up your mind as to repair or replace? I say this as more and more in my shop i find customers are these days preferring to replace rather than repair, and put any monies that would have been spent on repairs be put towards a new unit, with a full warranty.

Black line in middle of panasonic plasma screen
hi all .ive had the same problem,a thick black line down
screen.sometimes it flickers from top to bottom and other permantly in
view.but i have solved it.forget your ic boards and taking apart tv.have
you got either a ps3 or wii connected to tv.if so unplug power lead
from socket and relocate in seperate socket.make sure the lead is
completely free of any other leads and you might just find this works.i
think the power lead creates some sort of frequency that the tv picks up
.good luck hope it works
